BiG BoY BeD

Hudson spent the last night in his crib. Bittersweet for Mommy. The last night putting my baby in his crib, but knowing he's getting too big.

He was SO excited for his new bed!! He loves it. Loves napping in it, sleeping in it, and playing in it! He wants everyone to come see his bed and lay in it. He's so proud. And so is Mommy. I was worried he would get in and out during bedtime, but he doesn't. He's excited to crawl in all by himself, and waits for Mommy or Daddy to come get him when he wakes up. My sweet angel.

Teddy Bear Band

Mommy, Daddy and the boys went to see the Teddy Bear Band today.

Mommy and Pax busted a move on the dance floor.

Hudson showed the panda bear his stuffed elephant.
But both boys were more interested in the water fountain...go figure.

Shhhhh.....

After complaining of a tummy ache, this very sleepy little boy fell asleep on the couch.

We love ART!!

Hudsy got to have a sick day too, but he is healthy!! So while Paxton napped, Hudson and Mommy did some arts and crafts. He's becoming a pro at the scissors, and loves cutting little pieces out to glue on to another.

These are my 2 favorite pictures he made today. Mommy helped with the turtle, and then we both signed our names at the bottom. Hudson with an "H" :)

Still sick....

This poor baby is still under the weather. I got a call from daycare today saying that he just wasn't himself, although it was difficult to understand her since Paxton was crying in the background. I rushed home to pick him up and headed to the clinic. He STILL has a double ear infection, so we are trying yet ANOTHER antibiotic. Third times a charm right?!!?!

Sneak Peek

I snagged this picture of Pax from Marsha's site. Isn't it the perfect picture of a boy with a double ear infection, stuffy nose, and tired eyes, saying "Mommy, why are you making Grandma Marsha take my picture today? I just want you to hold me." I promise, he did smile.....a few times :) But this is just precious!

SWIMMING!!

Mommy and Daddy took Hudson swimming....JUST Hudson!! He was so excited, and he loved every splash!! Not to mention the hot tub! We had to go back and forth, in and out of the COLD pool, in to the hot tub. It was a fun afternoon, quality time with our oldest little boy.

Mommy and Daddy were SO proud of him for going right down the slide, all by himself!

In fact, he wanted to do everything all by himself. He walked by the lifeguard and told her he was going to go in the pool all by himself. And because Mommy warned him the lifeguard would blow the whistle at him if he ran, he also said to her, "I'm just walking" as he scurried by her :)

At the Nordby's

We went to the Nordby's house today so Grandma Marsha could take Paxton's 1 year pictures and Hudson's 2 1/2 year pictures. And after all their hard work smiling, the boys had some fun with Brody and Brenley's toys.

H is for Hudson

Maddi stayed with Hudson while I took Paxton to the doctor for his continuing ear infection. When I got home, Hudson told me Maddi taught him how to write an "H" for Hudsy!! And he can, perfectly!

He's so proud! And so is his Mommy!

nap time

We went to Uncle Lon and Ditty's house this afternoon/evening and Pax needed a little nap. He fell asleep on Daddy, and then he put him in the puppy bed! Poor Pax!

When he woke up, Uncle Lon snuggled him back to sleep.

Birthday at Happy Joe's

Paxton and Kendra had their joint birthday parties with the Johnson side tonight at Happy Joe's.

Hudson loves playing the games (so does Daddy!) and winning tickets!

Meredith brought Brody and Brenley (and Grandma Marsha and Aunt Heidi too!) over, and Katie brought Olive. And we can't forget Jenny who came to play too! All the kids had so much fun together. Olive was so friendly! She just wanted to love on anyone she could get! Including Paxton!

But he wasn't too sure about all that attention.
Olive was the only one patient enough to pose for a picture.

And the big boys ran around and played their little hearts out!

Slide!!

Mommy and Daddy (oh, who are we kidding, Mommy did!) ordered Paxton a school bus slide for his birthday and it was FINALLY delivered today!
