58 degrees....

The temps were just warm enough to enjoy the afternoon and evening outside. Finally! And we did a little bit of everything in the backyard.

Swinging.....

Jumping on the tramp. Which sometimes looked like this.....
But most of the time, like this.....
And usually ended like this....Pax took his first ride on the lawnmower with Daddy.

And he really enjoyed his pizza. It was finger-licken good!

Thank you so much for my pizza Mommy!

Tickle my legs Daddy!

wednesday

Hudson riding on the pink doll bike. Nothing new!

Paxton and Ditty's game....he sits on her lap, she yells "Ready, Set...." and he yells "GO!!" and she shakes him up as he laughs like crazy! He loves it, and it wears Ditty out.

Easter- Take Three

We spent the afternoon/evening at our house with family...playing outside.

Taking Maddi out for a spin in his truck. Finding eggs with Ditty and Logie.

Lugging around that pail full of candy and money filled eggs wasn't easy!

Align Center
Hanging out by the fire.

As the day neared end, we sat around the fire and toasted marshmallows for s'mores. And Hudson warmed his butt :)

Thank you to everyone for the generous gifts, candy, and a great day spent with family! We're incredibly lucky to have all of you!

Easter- Take Two

We celebrated Easter over lunch at Aunt Shelly's with the Johnson side. All the young kids; Hudson, Declyn, Kendra, Bryce, Morgan, and Paxton.

Egg hunting with Morgan.
Showing off his treasures.Kayla gave the kids rides (lots of rides!) in the four wheeler wagon.

They loved it and never wanted to stop!

HaPpY EaStEr- Take One

Paxton was the first to wake Easter morning, finding his presents left by the Easter Bunny.

Hudson immediately looked to see if the bunny brought him turds or candy. Grandma Sharon told him if he was naughty the bunny would poop in his basket, and he never forgot it! He got candy! :)

Playing on their new slide for outside.

A great big Happy Easter smile for you!

Love the boys.....

Time out x 2

Both boys got time outs today. It was Paxton's first one. They were jumping on the couch, giggling away. They'd sit when I came into the room, and as soon as I walked out, they'd start jumping again. Little devils! So after several warnings, they were sent to their corners.

I know it probably wasn't an appropriate time to take a picture, but I couldn't resist. I'm sure its the first of many double time outs!

Temper, Temper

Paxton can throw a temper tantrum with the best of them. It usually starts with plopping down on his butt, progressing into lying on his back.

If he gets more serious, he'll shoot you some evil looks and throw his arms around a little, like this....

All while yelling at you and showing off that beautiful 1 year molar!!

Luckily, these tantrums are usually short-lived and he'll flash you his famous smile once he's calmed down a bit.

Vacuuming...

With all of the great toys and inventions out there, why can't they come out with a toy vacuum that really works?!!? I'd have the cleanest floors!

Candy, candy, and....

MORE CANDY!! From the perspective of two young boys, they are the luckiest kids ever!! No one can say no to these two, except Mommy, but who listens to their Mommy??

Tippy toes are necessary for reaching Sheri's Easter candy.
And when Mommy swipes the jars full of sugar away when they aren't looking, she gets this look......followed by finger waving and lots of words I didn't understand but didn't sound very nice!

And we finally got Hudson to agree that he didn't need a bubba sucker everytime Vicky comes to babysit, instead he said, "Bring me Sour Patch Kids!!". Oh good, that's so much better :)

Baby Chicks

We went to Runnings to visit the little baby chicks. Hudson loved petting them, wanted to hold one so badly, but Mommy and Daddy were afraid he'd squeeze a little too hard.

Posing with a chick.
Pax wasn't a big fan, liked them better from a distance.

Hudson wanted this helmet! Then he could go on the four wheeler!

Goose Egg

Not only does this picture show off Paxton's...ahem.....lovely smile, chubby cheeks, double chin, and bad eating habits, it also shows off the bruised goose egg on his forehead. He was having a little too much fun at daycare today and ran right into the corner of the wall. He's ALL boy, no doubt about that!

Easter Eggs

Grandpa, Grandma, Daddy, Mommy, Hudson and Paxton dyed Easter eggs.

Taking a close up look at his egg. And a close up sniff of that vinegar! The ever-so-careful egg dropping technique.Don't forget about Pax---and his cheesy smile! This is the only smile he gives now.

Some stern words for Daddy, who took egg dyeing much too seriously. Hudsy just wanted to do it HIS way, as messy as that was!
The finished product---his "H" egg.
