Today was a great day to be a boy! First, we went to Daddy's friend Drew's house and I ran around the yard and played with his dog, Rambo. We fought over the same stick. Then we went across the highway to Grandma and Grandpa's and they are building a new garage so again, I ran around! Grandpa gave me a ride on the four wheeler. Mommy was kind of nervous but we're guys, we're fine! And I crawled around on the new lawn mower Grandpa bought Grandma that she says she doesn't like, but we think she secretly does. Its a BIG one and goes FAST! I sat on it and yelled, "Go, go go!".
Another year at the Minnesota State Fair. I don't remember being there last year but Mommy says I loved it, and I loved it again this year! Mainly because I got to go on RIDES again!!! Maddi went on the ones that went up high and we laughed and laughed! I just can't get enough! I'm not sure if that was my favorite part, or if the garbages were?!?!?! I am obsessed with garbages!!!! I call them guck (a.k.a. yuck). I begged everyone to take me to one of the millions of garbage cans, and I can pretty much get the Ahlness family to do anything I want! I gazed at the garbage men thinking they have my dream job. I hope I can grow up to be a garbage man! It was a little chilly there so me and Mommy had our hoods on. We kept warm by trying yummy foods. I had deep fried pickles (Mommy's favorite!), chocolate covered bacon, corn dog, ice cream, cookies, and lots of french fries! Who could ask for more?
Vicky and Hunter had so much fun taking care of me on Tuesday, they decided to come back again today! And this time I surprised them by being awake when they got here in the morning! I was ready for breakfast! Hunter had plans for later so she washed her hair and I helped! I scrubbed in the shampoo, she rinsed! Me and Hunter are such good buds! Later Ditty took me to Dairy Queen and I had my very own hot fudge sundae....again! Ice cream two days in a row! No wonder my cheeks look like this!
Another fun day at Auntie Sheri's house. I helped her out with chores again by doing the dishes! I'm sure I was more of a help than a mess! I also got into some of Regan and Sidney's girly toys and pushed a doll in the stroller. Sorry Dad, it was a temporary slip! I made up for it by practicing my soccer skills. Hunter and Carson joined us at McDonald's for ice cream. Yum, my very own ice cream cone!! If only Mommy could see me now!
Ditty and Hunter babysat me today. It was kind of a rainy day so we did a lot inside. Hunter chased me around the house, that was my favorite game! And Vicky let me play in her water!! Mommy says "naughty, naughty"!! I also ran over Hunter with my bike. Whoops! I sure hope they come back on Friday!
My daycare is on vacation this week so today I spent the day at Aunt Sheri's. We had lots of fun and were busy bees. We went to the park, played with new toys, and watered the flowers. I'm such a good help! She said I was a very good boy and Mom liked it because Sheri emailed her at work to tell her what we were doing. Mommy was jealous!
Daddy said I had to have a bath after going in the Minnesota River. Mommy bought me color tablets for my bath that make my water different colors. She was kind of worried I'd come out blue too but I didn't. Shoot, would've been kind of fun!
Me, Mommy, and Daddy went to Riverside Park and Grandma and Grandpa decided to visit us there. At first I wasn't too sure about this park because it wasn't "my" park that we always walk to but I had fun exploring the new stuff. And the best part was that its right by the river and I got to dip my feet in. I splashed around until my shorts were soaked! Another great afternoon with my family!
Another favorite toy of mine is my piggy bank. I love putting those coins in the pig, and taking them out again! And notice the tattoo on my arm! Mommy said I could get one. I'm such a cool dude!
My new favorite thing to do is play ball. I throw it, run after it, and throw it again! And I can throw it far! I've had good practice from throwing Bella's ball all the time. Here's a picture of me in action.
I was in awe of the deer on the TV and kept watching them. Daddy was so proud. He says I gotta keep a good eye on them when we go hunting. Mommy had tears!
I rode all of my toys today; my fire truck, four wheeler, and car. I love driving my fire truck. I go around and around the driveway. And Daddy drove me and my blue car to the park. I beeped the horn the whole way! Outta my way people!!
I had my first trip to Valleyfair, and for a kid who loves rides, this was like heaven to me!! I went on everything I could! My absolute favorite was the Merry-Go-Round, I made Maddi take me 4 times! I also really liked the Balloons with Maddi and Zevlen because they went way up high and made Zev feel sick! Me and Regan were ride partners again and went on all the kiddie rides together. Mommy even got to go on the Semi-trucks! Daddy went on all the big rides, too bad I'm not tall enough because if I was, I know I'd be brave enough to go! We also played in the Foam Ball Factory. Me, Grandma, Vicky, and Hunter ran around in there. It was the best day!!
Daddy was taking pictures of Mommy's belly and I was amazed at how big the baby is! When I looked up that was all I could see. I was a nice boy and gave my brother a little rub so he knows I'm waiting for him.
Mommy had to babysit Brody today so we got to do some playing. We had breakfast together, ran around together, and read books together. We even wrestled around a little. Mom shook her head thinking this is what her house is going to be like when my brother is here! Boys!!!
We went to the Brown County Fair on the hottest day of the summer but I still had a blast! I just love riding those rides! And especially when I have a friend to ride with. This time Carson came with me. We even went on one that went up in the air! Mommy said I was really brave! And not only did I get to do that, but I also got to see some animals and even ride a horse!! Everything was so much fun, I can't even pick my favorite!
