I think I can, I think I can.......

I was trying with all my might to lift myself up and out of that chair. I think now that I can sit on my own, I shouldn't have to be stuck in the chair but Mommy says I do. She says my splashing gets too crazy!

Mom and Dad took my bed out of the pack n' play and now I'm way down here. I'm not sure I like it this way?? I can't peak out at everyone like I used to. I guess its because I'm getting bigger and too chubby to be in the bed part. Its tough growing up!

Jumpie, jumpie!

Finally sitting!!

At 6 1/2 months I finally got this sitting thing down. I always see my Daddy lying down, so I thought thats what I was supposed to do too. Mom calls us lazy boys, but Daddy says we deserve a break after a long days work/play.

Laundry????

Mom is already putting me to work. She threw me in the laundry basket and said, "Help Mom fold the clothes." Silly Mom, all I wanna do is play!

Cool outfit!

Mommy wanted to take a picture of me in my cool Nike outfit, and I was being really good, full of smiles, until......Daddy walked in the back door and all concentration was lost! Hey, I tried!

Peaches, peas, and prunes....oh my!

I have been eating lots of vegetables and fruits. I've tried peas, green beans, sweet potatoes, carrots, peaches, bananas, and prunes (Mom made me have the prunes so I would go poopy!). Here, Auntie Vicky is feeding me prunes and Dad is laughing at me because he thinks they're gross! Mommy doesn't know what to do with me because I don't like my vegetables anymore. I gag on peas and green beans!! Yuck! Give me the sweet stuff!

Peeks!!!

I surprised my mom by peeking at her over my pack n' play. She was running around the house doing stuff and she finally looked my way and.....peek-a-boo......I see you!!! I can play the real peek-a-boo too! I like to play it with Mommy when she's changing my diaper. I grab my clothes, cover my face for a little bit, then put them down real fast, and Mom yells, "Peek-a-boo!!!" Its so much fun and we laugh a lot! I also learned to do "No No". Mom and Grandma say, "no no" and I shake my head back and forth! They think I'm so funny and they say it all the time. They're gonna give me a headache!

Bath time fun!

Since I got lots of new bath toys for Christmas, I was finally able to enjoy my bath! I played and played, and splashed and splashed!! My toe-toes and fingers even got wrinkled. Mom called them "prunie". It was a lot of fun! I plan on getting really dirty today so I can take another one tomorrow!

Hangin' with my friends

I went to Aunt Meredith's house and got to play with my friends, Brody and Brogan. Brody missed his nap earlier so he had to take one while we were there, but while he was sleeping, me and Brogan got to try out his new toys! I liked to ride on the lion, with Meredith's help! Brogan didn't really like taking pictures with me (I think she thought I had cooties!) so right when Mom snapped the picture, she lifted her behind right in front of my face! Brody finally woke up, but was still a little sleepy, so I gave him a hug. I know how he feels! We're the best of friends!

Its 2009!!!

Happy New Year to everyone!!! I almost made it to midnight, I was so close, and then at 11:30pm, I conked out. Not to worry though, I woke up at about 12:30am to give everyone my New Year's kisses!

Me and Shane

This is me and my cousin Shane. He LOVES me!!! I mean really, he can't get enough of me! I think he took 20 pictures of me on his phone, so he can always look at me! We kinda look alike, the bald heads and all! He even surprised us on New Years and came home. I'm so glad he isn't living in Hong Kong anymore. I like him much better here!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

I loved my first Christmas. I got to

spend lots of time with my family. My godmother Maddi gave me way too many presents!!! She's the greatest EVER!! We played with Elmo, even the adults liked him! I got to see my cousins, Regan and Sidney again. I love when they visit! Merry Christmas everyone! I hope your holidays were as good as mine!

Santa came!!!!

I woke up Christmas morning to presents from Santa Claus!!! He brought me a kitchen, just what I wanted! Daddy said Santa must think I'm a girl. He'll be sorry when I get big and become a world known chef! Santa also brought me a brand new chair! Just like the ones big people sit in. It was a good morning!

Christmas Eve

I had a good Christmas Eve. We went to church as a family and I was very well behaved. I knew I had to be in order to get all my presents from Grandma and Grandpa! We went there afterwards and I opened lots and lots of gifts!!! Toys galore!!!! I loved it! I'm such a lucky boy. I don't know where Mom is going to put all my toys? I got hot and had to take my sweater off and then me and my Grandpa had matching shirts on! After all the presents were opened, we went to Daddy's Aunt Jane's. I got to play with my cousins there. Kids were running all over the place! I stayed up until midnight and was nice enough to sleep through the night.

I'm getting so big! I can even stand up and play with my activity table from Aunt Vicky!! I love moving the train around the track! I was having a blast!

Christmas from the Ahlness's

It was a very Merry Christmas from the Ahlness family!!! They let me open my presents early.....I knew I loved them! Thank you so much- Logan for the book, Hunter for the remote control piggy (which my Daddy really likes!), Vicky for the activity table, and Uncle Lon for all the Vikings gear!! As you can see, I already put it all to good use! I hope you're proud of me Uncle Lon, your little Vikes Fan! Its a little too late to use this all as a good luck charm, but I'll try it out next Sunday for the game.

Grandpa's belly

Mommy and Grandma say that Grandpa doesn't have a very good lap for me to sit on, but I disagree! I like sitting on Grandpa's lap......well, I mean belly. I'm way up high! And in a great position to pull out some chest hairs. We got to hear Grandpa scream like a girl shortly after this picture was taken! Whoopsie!

Cuddles

Grandma got me this "My First Christmas" teddy bear. He's so cute. I love cuddling with him and giving him lots of hugs! We're both great snugglers!

Just like Daddy

Mommy says this is what happens when Daddy dresses me, but I think I look cool in my camo. Just like my Daddy. He says Mommy is naughty because he found this in my closet, unworn, and its already getting too small. Mom says this is the only time it'll fit me......shoot! But I have a feeling Daddy will be buying me more camo apparel in my lifetime!

Guess who I'm with.......

If you guessed MADDI, you're right! Everytime she's with me, she just has to do something silly. She dressed me up in pink and a girl's headband, she swung me around in my blanket, she put me in a girly chair and gave me a doll, and she let me eat a cheeto! She says she gives me food all the time so she's my favorite. Well, she has a lot of food to give me to make up for treating me like a girl!!!

SANTA!!!

I met Santa Claus for the first time!!! He was a big guy, with a big beard that I was so tempted to grab and pull, but since I want to stay on the "nice list", I held back. I smiled big and told him about all the toys I wanted for Christmas. Mommy said she was so proud of me, and even cried because I did such a good job. Presents, here I come!!!!

Hanging out with the Brodster

Me and Mom went to see her girlfriends and Aunt Meredith brought Brody along too. When he got there I was napping my carseat so Mom told him to wake me up. He crawled right over and tried to grab my eyeball! He has his own, he certainly doesn't need mine. Meredith warned Mommy that might happen. I'm tough though, I can take it. But watch out Brody, I'll learn to crawl someday and I'll get you back! :-) We got to play with each others toys! I let him play with my most favorite toy, my family tree. But I think he was more interested in the real Christmas tree. He might have even snuck an ornament home, but I promised him I wouldn't tell!

Gettin' out the Christmas toys

Thats me checking out some of my Christmas toys. I got the moose from my Grandma Sharon. She won it at her work party. I like to eat his antlers (Is that what they're called? I asked Mom but she wasn't sure.). Hope it doesn't hurt him! My Grandpa gave me the puppy. He sings Christmas songs to me, and his ears flop up and down!! He's goofy! Oh, and I got that cool shirt from my best friend Brody, he has a matching one. We're going to grow up to be wild monsters just like the ones on my shirt!

Bath time........

Since I haven't been a huge fan of my baths yet, Mom is trying yet another way to get me all cleaned up. Sheri let us borrow the bath seat she had for my cousin Regan. I don't look too sure about it in this picture, but eventually I did smile. We'll see what Mom tries next???

St. Nick's Day

It was my very first St. Nick's Day and he was good to me! I must have been on his "nice list"! I got a John Deere tractor book which I love! Its a toy and a book all at the same time! I also got some clothes, like I really needed any more, right! "Grandma St. Nick" brought me presents too! Boy did I get into a great family, I get presents for everything! And I also got that hat from Grandma Sharon's friend, Janice. She thought it would be too big. She obviously hasn't noticed the size of my head!! I hope everyone had a nice St. Nick's Day.

Getting into trouble???

For those of you who know what my Aunt Sheri and Grandma Cindy are like, get ready for this! I was at Sheri's for my grandma's birthday and Sheri let me play with her Christmas trees!!! Thats right! I got to touch them, grab them, take ornaments off.....anything I wanted to! You can tell by my face that I assumed I was going to be in trouble....but nope! And Grandma let me open her birthday presents! Yep, I ripped right into them and no one cared. They must really love me because usually they have lots of rules......but not for me!!!

SIPPY!!

I got to drink some water out of my sippy cup. I was kind of messy and most of the water went down my chin, but it was still fun! I feel like such a big boy! And I get thirsty after my veggies, so finally I get something to drink afterwards!
