JACKPOT!!

Hudson took the liberty of going through Grandma's purse and found the good stuff! MONEY!!! Of course to him, the coins are better than cash so he went for them. Grabbed a handful and said, "Hudsy's money."

Exploring the Living Room

Paxton still loves laying on the floor and rolling around! I've decided that putting a blanket down for him is pointless because in only one second he's already rolled a mile away! He's even started to get up on his knees and use them to push off of to get even further! Our happy little frog hopper!

All About Logie......

Our sweet Logie had an accident so the boys made her a 'Get Well' card and gave her a zebra body pillow, which I'm pretty sure they both would have rather kept for themselves! And since its her graduation party this weekend, we went to her house to help get ready, and as you can see, the boys were a BIG help! Paxton helped make picture boards and Hudson cleaned the whole house with one Swiffer!! Literally, top to bottom! Mommy was so proud! And naughty Hunter put Hudsy in a dress. He's put up with a lot from those Ahlness girls, but I think he's finally had all he can take! Maybe the heart-shaped hair barrette put him over the edge!

Gymnastics

Hudson started gymnastics on Thursday and is in a class with his friends Brody and Everett. I put Hudson in the class against Daddy's wishes because he says its for girls, but really its just running, jumping, and acting like a monkey. The picture is of Hudson getting a stamp at the end of class because thats pretty much all he participated in, besides the trampoline and slide. The teacher would ask if he wanted to walk on the beam? " No" Do somersalts? "No" Swing on the bars? "No". But he loved watching and cheering on Brody! Daddy says he didn't do it because he knows its for girls. I just think Hudson knows exactly what he wants to do and no one can tell him otherwise. We'll see what next Thursday brings us.

Sippy Cup

Since Paxton has been eating meals now, Grandma keeps saying he's thirsty, so we've given him a sippy cup with water. He doesn't actually get much, just enough to wet his whistle. His favorite part is chewing on it!

Grandma's Glasses

Hudson is definitely ENTERTAINING!!!

Can you see me??

I left the boys home alone with Daddy for a couple hours and came home to a camouflage baby Paxton. I seem to remember this happening when Hudson was a baby too and left alone with Daddy, in the very same outfit.

Planting flowers......

Grandma and Hudson planted a flower together today. Boy did they make a mess!!! Hudson loved watering it, and I'm afraid he's going to continue to love watering it everyday....it may drown!

Morning with the Dorn's

Our cousins, Nikki and her kids; McKenna and Jackson came over to play today! Hudson showed McKenna all of his toys outside and they had fun running around to each of them, especially Jamie swinging them (later Jamie had to swing McKenna and her Cabbage Patch doll!!!). Paxton and Jackson enjoyed lounging around, inside and out. He is about 3 weeks younger than Paxton, but a little bit bigger. Our boys are always the small ones!

Big shoes to fill........

Hudson grabbed Grandpa's shoes and tried walking in them. They were a little big!

Supper time.....

We had supper tonight as a family, something we don't do often enough. Poor Paxton ate cereal and peas while the rest of us enjoyed chicken lasagna and garlic toast! It was yum-o!!! Paxton didn't seem to mind one bit though, he just loves eating!

Play-Doh

Since we were stuck indoors today because of the rain, we decided to bring out the Play-doh. This was Hudson's first experience and I think he thoroughly enjoyed it! His favorite thing was to cut it with the play scissors, or as he called it, his "owie knife". It is possible though that Jamie and I enjoyed it even more! In the second picture, you'll notice our masterpieces; the "man" and the flower.

Paxton & Brenley

These 2 lovebirds enjoyed the beautiful weather lounging outside on the deck. I think their love is really blossoming! They took their relationship to the next level and had their first kiss today, shared drool and everything!
So cute!
Going in for the big smooch.....Brenley made the first move!
Awe....how romantic!
P.S. If you look in the background you'll see the 2 big brothers putting rocks down the rain gutter tubing!! I think they had this planned from the second they seen my camera point toward the babies. I'm guessing it went like this.... "Okay, she isn't looking. Let's do it!" You can see Hudson on the look out in the last picture!

Brody & Hudson

We had Brody and Brenley over again today and the kids have more and more fun everytime they're together. The boys played so well, with EVERY toy we have, inside and out! All with only one minor fist fight!
Fixing the car.
Being boys and throwing balls at the wall.
Swinging and shaking the tire swing.
It took some serious bribery to get a picture this good! Sad to say, these were their smiles!

New Kitchen

We remodeled our kitchen a little bit by putting in new countertops, sink, and stove top. I am more than happy with the finished product and owe a HUGE thank you to my husband for putting it all in and making great time (which is highly unusual for him)! And to Uncle Arnie for doing the plumbing!!

The Before....ugly, bright white countertops and awful sink.
Hudson, learning from the best, Uncle Arnie!

The After....

Visiting Hudsy

I put Paxton in Hudson's crib thinking Hudson would want him out, but it was just the opposite! They played together for awhile, Hudson thinking he was so funny, hiding his da-do's from Paxton but when I said it was time for bed and Paxton had to come out, Hudson whined and begged for Paxton to sleep with him! "Baby sleep here Mommy!!"

Pretty Boy!?!?!

Naughty Logie put makeup on Hudson. And I wish I could say, "poor Hudson", but unfortunately, he asked for it! "Put this on!" he told her. Daddy was not happy!!!

Peas are......yucky!!

Paxton tried peas for the first time and he was not a big fan! And the poor thing ate them all, but with this face! With every spoonful, the face got a little more pathetic. I think Hudson felt sorry for him because he said, "Don't like em Mommy. All done." Then pushed the spoon away.

After a long weekend....

The day home from camping, the boys still didn't get enough of the outdoors and went swinging in the backyard. Grandma was just saying how Hudson used to fall asleep in the swing because he loved it so much he never wanted to get out.....and then he fell asleep! Camping really got the best of him. But not Paxton, he's a real trooper!

Two peas in a pod......

Daddy and Hudson sleeping in the camper. They couldn't be more alike when it comes to sleeping! Flipping and flopping all over the place!

All the counsins (that were there); Dusty, Kayla, Declyn, Alyssa, Hudson, Kendra, Bryce, Morgan, and Paxton.

CAMPING

We went on our annual camping trip with the Johnson side of the family. I think camping is Hudson's idea of a perfect vacation! He had the time of his life; running wild, playing with his cousins, trying to ride bikes and scooters, playing at the park, sitting by the fire, looking for the stars and moon, snacking all day long, and hanging out in the camper! Paxton was happily held by everyone and really enjoyed being outside, laying in the shade! Both boys were SOOO good! They napped well, slept well, and behaved well. Everyone got a big laugh from Hudson and all the things he says, knows, and talks about! They both proved to be the center of attention that's for sure! I couldn't be more proud to be their mom!

Paxton enjoying the swings.

Giggling with Grandma Sharon.
Coming down the biggest tube slide!!
Before naptime and bedtime, Hudson watched a movie.
