Grandpa Arnie's Big Day

We celebrated Grandpa Arnie's birthday tonight at Happy Joe's and back to Sheri and Arnie's for cake, cupcakes, ice cream, presents......and bouncy ball saving!! The boys were playing with bouncy balls outside and of course, Hudson's tiny ball fell into the storm sewer. He was devastated so....Daddy to the rescue! The bouncy ball was saved!! And Hudsy never loved his Daddy more!

But, not to be outdone by the bouncy ball fiasco....we sang and showered Grandpa Arnie with gifts, because we couldn't love him any more.

We spent as much time outside today as we could before it got breezy and chilly.

Hudson drove Paxton around in his truck. Pax changed the radio station a million times and jammed away!

Mommy traced Hudson in sidewalk chalk. Quite the resemblance, huh?!?!

Our cousins Nikki, McKenna, and Jackson came over to play Saturday afternoon. Hudson and Paxton had so much fun playing with them. Hudson told Nikki she could go home but should leave the kids at Hudsy's house!

Brody's Birthday Party

We celebrated Brody's 3rd birthday at the Lake Crystal Rec Center. The boys had a GREAT time swimming and hanging out with their daycare buddies.

Mohawks x 2

Hudson has been insisting that Baby Brother gets a mohawk too, and he finally got one!! With a sucker in his mouth, he'd sit there for hours getting his hair cut, so Ditty kept clipping away!

And now he looks even MORE like his big brother! Cute as pie!

Haircuts are still on Hudson's list of things he loves! In the middle of it, he stopped Ditty and said "thank you", she asked for what and he answered, "for giving me my mohawk". Pretty sure Ditty's heart melted then and there!

Friday Fun

Outside Friday fun with Ditty and Grandma babysitting. Paxton is your typical boy, loves digging in the sand and getting dirty....unlike our Hudsy!

To the park....

When I got home from work I found Hudsy, Paxton, and Daddy on a bike ride. Hudsy loves getting in the cart for a ride!

Afterwards we all walked to the park. Hudson told Daddy he wasn't sure if he could do it all by himself.

But Daddy said, "You can do it Hudsy!" ...and he did!!

WeDnEsDaY

The kids ate supper as fast as they could at Sheri's so they could get back outside. They impatiently waited for Mommy to be done eating so they could BOLT out the front door!

Our boys LOVE playing hockey! Grandma put Pax in a giant vase. Gotta have that tongue out! So of course big brother had to have a try too! And really take a look at this adorable face, absorb it, remember it......

.... because it turns into this!!!! He was imitating Spongebob's face, a spitting image!

Neighborhood Friends

The temps reached about 58 degrees today and we enjoyed every last minute of it! We ate supper on the deck and played 'til our little knees were green with grass stains and our fingernails were filled with sand.

We traveled across the yard to our neighbor's playset. Hudson and his friend Carson had a great time running around like wild boys. Carson turned 4 in March. He has a younger brother, Cole who turned 1 in March.

And a new family moved into the house behind us, and they have a little boy, Noah, who is 16 months old. A perfect playmate for Paxton.

Its fun to have some new toys to cruise around in!

Boys have officially taken over the neighborhood!!! Apparently we have an unwritten rule....NO GIRLS ALLOWED!!

Paxton's Weekend

While Mommy, Daddy, and Brother were away Paxton spent the weekend home with Grandma. Since it was so nice outside, they went to the park and played outside. Grandma said Paxton loved swinging so much, he never wanted to get out and eventually fell asleep.

Hudson's Weekend

Hudson was a LuCkY BoY this weekend and got to have lots of special time with just Mommy and Daddy!! We went to the play/musical Madagascar LIVE! at the Orpheum Theatre, then to Nickelodeon Universe, then overnight in a hotel, and the circus today! I'm not sure who had more fun; Hudson or Mom and Dad watching him have the time of his life. He loved everything so much he couldn't quite pick his favorite. He told me to ask him again and again, so he could switch his answer each time saying, "but I really liked the circus....no I really liked the hotel...no, Madagascar was my favorite." On the merry-go-round at Nickelodeon Universe. He had to go on almost every animal so Mom and Dad had to take turns riding around, and around, and around.....

Maddi met us at the hotel and of course, thought of lots of fun things to do, like nylons as hats!!

Logie stayed with us too!! Thanks for being a part of our family!!

This was our 2nd annual circus :) Hudson loves the elephants but proclaims "the elephants stink really, really bad". When I asked if he wanted to ride on one he said, "No way, they'll poop on us!"

We loved every minute of our weekend!!!!!! And we came home to a baby brother that we missed so much! But thanks to Grandma he was well taken care of and loved while we were gone!! (and our house was miraculously cleaned too!!!) Thanks Grandma, we love you and don't know what we'd do without you!

Bath Bombs

Maddi bought Hudson bath bombs for Christmas and now he can't get enough of them! He used them all up, and asked Maddi for some more. He loves em'!!
