*fingerpainting*

Since it was a bit too chilly outside today, we opted to fingerpaint instead. Hudson surprised me and dove right in! And he only reminded me to wipe him up when he was all done about 100 times! It was educational too, he realized all by himself that mixing red and blue makes a new color...purple!

This boy got sick of painting, and starting coloring the floor. I slipped a piece of paper under him while he wasn't looking.

Paxton is going through the stage of insisting on eating everything all by himself. And with a little plastic bowl of quickly melting ice cream, well....you can about imagine how that went!

sunday @ flandrau

We spent the warm Sunday afternoon at Flandrau....in the water! The boys splashed and swam like little fish. Mommy, Daddy, and Grandma took turns taking Hudson out into the deep. And Pax had the time of his life with Logie, splish-splashing around. This was trip #1 of the 2011 summer season, the first of many I'm sure!

saturday @ the farm

We spent the warm Saturday afternoon at Grandma and Grandpa's farm. So much for two boys to get into! We went there clean and dry, and left VERY dirty and VERY wet!!

The Last Supper

It was our last Wednesday night supper of the 2010-2011 school year. Sad, sad day! Wednesdays have been my favorite day of the week for years, and now its the boys' favorite too.

Every week is a little different, you never know who is going to show up, and its dwindled down a bit as the girls get older and have sporting events, religion classes, and leave for college. Tonight around the table was Paxton, Grandma, Hudson, Sheri, Logie, Daddy, Arnie, Ditty, and Mommy.

Just thrilled about his meatballs, corn, and strawberries!!
