Brown County Fair 2011

We went to the fair on Friday afternoon for "Kid's Day". The boys went on all the rides that they could, and Hudsy said his favorite were the motorcycles.

They both liked going up high in the airplanes. Paxton spotted a balloon floating away.
On the very jerky fish!

Checking out the catfish.

Hudsy played the Ring Toss game again, same great form and technique. And don't tell him, but Paxton actually won the pop!

On a big boy ride with Alec. They giggled as they spun around in circles! Pax DID NOT want to get off the horsey! He loved going around and around with Grandma!

So did this big boy! And he named his horse "Soobi" :)

Feeding the deer....were they deer? I don't really know what these animals were? But I do know Pax wasn't a big fan of their tongues!

Well hello strange baby animal! Notice him wiping off the tongue slobber on his shirt.....gross!

Happy Birthday Morgan!

We celebrated cousin Morgan's 12th birthday today! Oh, and it's Mommy and Daddy's 4th wedding anniversary....Happy Anniversary Jamie! I love you.

Pax taking a break from his dinner plate to show Mommy a munchy smile!

Hudsy holding a catepillar...until Morgan told him it would poop on him if he squeezed it. He dropped that catepillar in a half a second!
Playing hoops with Daddy! He gets so proud when he plays with his Daddy.

Hudson came running to me asking if it was okay if he played with the water hose.....but it was a little late, he was already soaked! I'm not sure I've ever heard him laugh as hard as he did while spraying all the kids...and Daddy!

Kendra wanted Pax to hold a kitty so badly.....

But he just wasn't having it. He'd get so close, and then laugh so much he couldn't stand still.

Happy Birthday Morgan! You're growing up to be such a beautiful girl.

BRENLEY!!

We babysat Brenley tonight and the boys loooooved having a girl over! We've always said that Brenley and Paxton will be married someday, but I'm afraid Hudson might give him some competition, as tonight he was requesting she come into his bed with him ;)

We had a pizza picnic in the playset.

They were all watching the big ball, Daddy was throwing it up really high.

We all love Brenley, especially this Mommy! It's nice to love on a sweet little girl for a change.

My Baby

This is my 3 year old, snuggled in on the couch watching cartoons, every weekday morning.

Boy Heaven

Cousins Carson and Alec came over tonight and to say the boys had a blast would be putting it mildly! There was nonstop laughter and nonstop playing!

Hudsy bounced around in the back of the truck with Alec behind the wheel. Al had a tendency to turn around to watch Hudsy as he drove, causing a few crashes here and there!

Pax riding on Glen the Buck.

When the neighbor boys came over too, there were motorized vehicles everywhere!!! Hudsy on the four wheeler, Alec in the truck, neighbor Karson on the tractor, and Pax in the fire truck.

All the Dad's....do you see any children in that playset that they could possibly be supervising?? No? Me either. At some point they all escaped unnoticed, and I can't say I'm surprised! Ha, good work guys!Casey- Bring the boys over anytime! They had so much fun!

Birthday in the Park

We went down to German Park for Alec and Aiva's 3rd birthday party.

These two cracked us up! They were playing "I'll show you mine if you show me yours" with their belly buttons!

Kylie and Pax
All the cousins (from left to right)- Hudson, Carson, Aiva, Alec, Paxton, Mason, Austin, and Kylie. It was not easy getting a picture of all of them. They sat there nicely, patiently, while about 5 adults snapped pictures, but the faces they gave were interesting and entertaining......

I love Alec and Pax in this one. Almost looks as though this is the first time they're meeting.

And did we mention Grandma is finally home from Nashville!?!? We missed you Grandma!!

Chalk Paint

Hudson got chalk paint from Cousin Tammy for his birthday and we finally got it out today. The boys thought it was pretty neat, and Mommy even tried it out too. We sure did get messy!

Of course Pax loves anything messy!
Hudsy was showing me his roller.....notice the wee-little fingers holding the brush off to the right? That would be Pax....painting Hudsy!

Morning at the Nordby's

On a bored whim this morning, Meredith and I decided to have a morning playdate with the kids. Hudson spent the entire drive there telling me everything he had planned to do when we got to Brody's house, and of course those plans included Brody's tractor and Gator.

Taking Brenley for a cruise.
These two had a BLAST in the bouncy house! Man do they love to jump together!

Thanks for letting us come play!

Moooorrrrrre!!!!!!!

This is what happens at least 10 times a day.....standing in the kitchen, next to the open candy drawer, begging, screaming and crying for just one more piece....no scratch that...a million more pieces!!!

Hot at the Park

Despite the temp only reaching 83 degrees, it was a HOT 83 degrees! The boys were red-faced with sweat beads falling from their blonde heads.....but they loved the park anyway. We picked up Taco John's and headed to the picnic table...for a quick bite, and from there on out it was a quick bite here and there for the boys as they were SO busy playing!

Paxton ate his potato oles while swinging.

Hudsy took a break to finish his sopapilla bites, and lick all the sugar from the bowl of course! We wouldn't expect anything less.

Getting chased by Daddy.....
Going down the taaaaaaall slide with Daddy.

And finally finding the courage to go all by himself.

Flowers for Mommy

Hudson (and Daddy) came home with flowers for Mommy, apology flowers because Hudson was kind of mean to Mommy. In fact, he told me to go live with the neighbors. He felt bad and knew he hurt Mommy's feelings, and these flowers (and a balloon too!) made it a little better.

Pax just wanted to sit by the flowers too!

Solo Bath

Hudson went grocery shopping with Daddy tonight, so Pax enjoyed the bath all to himself, and he was excited! When I asked if he liked to take a bath without Hudsy he yelled "YEA!"

And he stretched out, taking up all the room he wanted to.
And had total control of the faucet, something Hudson never allows!
