28 weeks

We're in the 28th week, and had a doctor appointment this afternoon. Baby girl is right on track and we scheduled the c-section for May 8th. Still growing.....everywhere! I wanted to just post the picture below, without my big fat face, but Jamie said that was dumb of me so you get both. Chubby cheeks and all!

TV and Games

It's starting already....ignoring Mom's yelling that supper is ready. One boy in the toy room watching Mickey Mouse and the other......

in the living room playing Mario Kart on the Wii (sitting on the new chair we got for baby's room).
After a forced dinner, Hudson went right back to his video game, so Mommy had a new baking partner.

This one enjoyed the cake batter just as much!

And they both came back to sprinkle.

Thanks for visiting Amy!

Amy came down this weekend for a girls night out and stayed at our house. The boys took advantage of playing with her, and even got her to watch Mickey Mouse in the toy room.

They both tried on her "thigh high" boots.
And she wrapped Paxton up in her scarf that he was a bit obsessed with.

Thanks for staying with us Amy! The boys are still checking if you're sleeping in the basement.

Ice fishing- but not for real....

Daddy was getting his ice fishing gear ready and the boys had fun playing around inside the house.

Hudson went with Daddy to pick up some minnows.

a BIG Valentine's Day post...

We celebrated a lot of Valentine's today, starting with the boys wearing their V-day shirts to daycare and bringing treats for the party. When we got home they opened their gifts from Mom and Dad. Hudson got pop beads to make critters and animals, and a police car.

Another pair of sunglasses for Paxton because he loves them!
And a vacuum because he's obsessed with vacuuming!

These were the Valentines they made for Mom and Dad at daycare.

Then we went out for supper and had some fun while waiting for our food.

After that, Pax had his first night of ECFE. He brought Brenley a flower, making him the sweetest boy in class. And she was proud of her flower.

Pax and his sweetheart.

My Valentines, screaming "Cheese!!" at the top of their lungs! And thank you to Daddy, the boys, and baby girl for the flowers for Mommy!

Happy Valentine's Day 2012

V-day for the boys

It was Valentine's Day on Saturday when the boys were given gifts from their godmothers. Paxton got a sniffly, sneezing Elmo, and everytime he sneezes Pax says, "Bless You".

And Hudsy got this huge turtle pillow/ball from Maddi.....
Which he took a snooze on later in the evening.

Thanks again to the best godmothers in the whole wide world!

mornings with dad

Jamie has been home in the mornings this week, therefore has allowed the boys (and himself!) to sleep in and go to daycare later on. This morning he sent me a picture text, step-by-step of their mornings.....(excuse the less than quality pictures, Jamie still has a flip phone!)

Snuggling in bed together before rising for the day. I was already super jealous at this point!

Breakfast on the couch...a poptart and left over blueberry muffin.
Brushing their teeth.
And walking to daycare.
Hudson told Paxton it was a little slippery so he better hold his hand......insert my heart melting here.
Although this made me miss my boys terribly, man this has been a good week for me! Sleeping in, only getting myself ready in the mornings, having time to shower, getting to work on time if not a few minutes early! Not to mention he's delivering lunch to me at work today. Thank you Dad!

Family of Animals

Since Paxton's farm animal party, we've been getting good use out these masks. Hudson and Paxton run around in them almost daily, but last night Hudson suggested we all wear them while we ate supper. I bet we were quite the sight!

Hudson the cow.

Paxton the pig.
Mommy the owl.

And Daddy the horse.

Creepy Crawlers

Maddi gave Hudson a Creepy Crawler maker for Christmas and they tried it out for the first time on Superbowl night. They squeezed in the gel and patiently waited for the creepy crawler to form, then put it in a bucket of ice water to cool and harden. Some turned out, some lost legs, but it was a lot of messy fun!

Weekend at Cutty's

We spent the weekend at Cutty's resort in Iowa with the Johnson family. The boys did lots of running around with their cousins, swimming, and playing games.

Pax in the pool with Aunt Lori.

Had to post this one of the boys in the hot tub...with Daddy too! Hehehe!
Surrounded by bubbles.

Hudson loved flying in the air when Daddy threw him up!

And they each painted a toy car. Paxton loved that and made sure he painted the entire thing.

Both boys slept with Mommy. Hudson would start out watching a movie with Dad but eventually made his way into Mom (there was no way we were all fitting in a full size bed together!). The boys slept next to eachother, and one morning I woke up to Paxton giggling, and he said, "Brother is snuggling me." I told him it was because Brother loved him, he said "I like my brother. I like you too Mommy." So sweet. Then he continued to rub Hudson's head. I knew it would eventually wake him up, but I just couldn't ask him to stop.
