Parade of Lights

We went to the Parade of Lights the day after Thanksgiving. It was chilly, but not freezing! I was all bundled up with Mommy and lots and lots of layers. Mom just kept piling them on! I really liked watching all the lights go by on the floats. And I met Santa Claus for the first time!!! He waved at me and yelled, "Ho Ho Ho!!!" I smiled at him so hopefully he brings me lots of presents!

Happy Thanksgiving!

It was my first Thanksgiving and it was a fun one! There was so much going on, I could barely concentrate long enough to eat!! Of course I got some Thankgiving presents. My Aunt Lori and cousin Kendra gave me a driving toy, and my Godmother Maddi gave me 2 books. I love holidays! And I especially love getting presents!

Strange Boy

I'm just kind of a weirdo sometimes. I was eating paper at a restaurant until it got a little out of hand. Mommy usually lets me do whatever I want but I guess when it comes to eating paper, she's a little more strict! It may look like I was hiding some in my cheeks, but I wasn't.....I promise. ;-) I was using Grandma as a jungle gym. I like to go upside down! And Mommy gave me my first Barbie. Daddy wasn't happy, until of course he saw that I just wanted to eat it! No girlfriends for me yet!

Throw away my bottles....

Finally, after all the reaching, grabbing, whining.....somebody listened to me and let me have a drink out of a big boy cup! Daddy gave me a sip of his water and it was delicious! He said I could have the rest because I drooled in the glass quite a bit. Come on Dad, I don't have cooties! Get rid of the bottles Mom, I want a real drink!

Toy Room

My Mommy kicked Daddy out of his hunting room and made me a toy room. I felt sorry for Daddy, but I'm so glad I have my very own toy room! Uncle Arnie came over to help paint again! Mommy says he's the greatest and we wouldn't know what to do without him. I agree! We painted one wall with chalkboard paint so I can write on it! I promised Mommy if she let me have that I would only write on that wall, no other walls in the house! I already drew my first masterpiece! And I can't wait until I'm big enough to ride around on my first Tonka truck!

My Three Girls

I am always surrounded by girls, and I really do love it (although me and Daddy could use a boy every now and then) and of course my Mommy is my favorite girl, but these three are all very special to me. They love me so much and help take good care of me. I am such a lucky boy. And aren't they beautiful!!!!

Shopping spree....again

Grandma, Mommy, and me went shopping on Saturday and I was a good boy the whole time! Mom said if I could have them, she would've given me a treat. I picked out lots of stuff at Babies R' Us and Grandma got me everything I pointed to.......except this orange chair because she said it was ugly. I loved it!! I'm still putting it on my Christmas list. Maybe Santa will get it for me? I spent most of the day in the Baby Bjorn with Mom. I really liked it in there! I got to see everything, grab for things, and still be held by Mommy. The shopping day really wore me out. I slept the whole way home, and the whole night through!! 10pm-7am!! I told Mom not to get used to it though, I don't think its going to happen often.

Me and Grandpa were looking at my picture book with my family and friends in it. He liked his picture the best, even better than Grandma's he told me!

First day at daycare

I made lots of new friends today because today, I went to daycare!!! It was my first day, and according to Rachelle, I did a really good job! I even took three 1 hour naps, and she wasn't even holding me. I did it all on my own in the pack n' play. Such a grown up I am! Mom tried to hold back her tears when she dropped me off but I could still see them (shhhhh....don't tell her I told you, I think she was trying to be strong for me). I guess I go back again tomorrow, and the day after that, and then everyday because Mom and Dad have to go to work. I'll miss hanging out with Mommy everyday, but I think it'll be harder on her than it is on me. I liked playing with friends all day! And the greatest part is, my bestest friend Brody is there. He's been there a while already so he showed me the ropes. I'm lucky to have him. We might cause Rachelle to have a few headaches. She already said she's going to get lots stronger carrying us boys around all day! This picture Mom put on here is just me laying on the bed tonight. I wasn't doing anything special. I just think she missed me so she took lots of pictures of me doing nothing. Sometimes she can be so silly!

Oh Daddy......

It's okay Daddy. I know you get tired and have to got to bed before me. I can try to teach how to stay up real late like me and Mommy do! We have lots of fun together! You're really missing out.

D-E-L-I-C-I-O-U-S!!!!!

Mmmmmm.......sweet potatoes!!!! For supper tonight I got sweet potatoes (hence the munchy mouth)!! I was a little nervous because Mom tried them first and she made an icky face, but I thought they were YUM-O!!!! I thought my cereal was good, but this was delicious!! I was ready to feed myself but Mom is so strict, she wouldn't let me. She just wants me to be a baby forever I think, but I am 4 1/2 months old already! As you may have noticed, I'm eating with my left hand. It comes so much easier to me, I think I'm always gonna use it. Mom keeps putting things in my right hand but I just drop them. She says I must be taking after Daddy, he uses his left hand for stuff too. She says its a Johnson gene.

Puffalump!!

Maddi gave me a "Puffy" just like she had when she was little (and secretly still keeps under her bed!). She says I better love this Puffy as much as she loved hers. And she told Mom she can't cut the tag off because that was her favorite part and I might want to suck on it. I have the best Godmother EVER!

Fall

Me and Grandma went out and played in the leaves!! It was really windy and they blowing everywhere!!

Day One

Today was my first day without my Mommy, she went back to work. I felt really sorry for her, she was really sad and had lots of tears on her cheeks. I was brave and strong, I knew I'd get to see her when she was done with work, and I got to spend the whole day with Grandma, and the rest of this week! We played, read books, ate cereal, and went to lunch at Burger King with Aunt Sheri and Uncle Arnie. I even got to be the king!! Boy was Mom happy to see me when she got home though. And I was nice enough to wake up from my nap just as she walked in. She didn't want to let me go. And I'm so nice that I'm still up with her now, at 10:30pm and I'm not tired at all! She said she wanted to spend as much time with me as she could, so late nights here we come!!

To the park we go.....

Since it was so nice outside today, we went to the park! It was my first time going down a slide and swinging in a big boy swing! I like it much better than my baby swing at home. Its about time Mom realizes that I'm all grown up now!

Yummy????

I had my first taste of cereal, and as you can tell by my reaction, I'm not quite sure if I like it yet. I'm eating 2 meals a day, breakfast and dinner, so I'm getting used to it but I think I'll be much happier when I get to fruits! Unfortunately, Mom says I have to get through this cereal stuff first, and then vegetables yet!

Mom thought maybe I was ready for my high chair, but I don't think its time quite yet. That tray is huge!! Waaaaaaay bigger than me! I think I'll wait this one out just a bit longer.

More Happy Halloween times......

Halloween was something like I've never seen before! I had to have so many pictures in my bear costume and I was so hot, I finally just collapsed in the chair! I couldn't take it any longer. Plus, I had a Halloween bib I had to put on, and not to mention a Halloween sleeper. So many outifts, so little time! I got so many presents it was like Christmas, or at least thats what everyone said, I haven't been to Christmas yet but I sure am excited now! We got home really late and I finally tuckered out while I was playing with my new Elmo. Mom said she kept hearing me laughing and playing and all of a sudden, silence. I fell fast alseep. I hope everyone had a wonderful Halloween. I can't wait for next year.....what will I be???????

Trick-or-Treat

I enjoyed my first Halloween night and I never even got spooked. Everyone said I was the cutest bear ever! Me, Mommy, Grandma, Aunt Vicky, and Hunter went trick-or-treating. Grandma told me to look really cute and smile big so I get lots of candy but I'm not sure why because I'm too little to eat it so she's going to have to....wait.....maybe that was her plan all along. Maddi was a pirate, Hunter was a hippie, and my best friend Brody was a monkey.

Rub-a-dub-dub in the....sink??

I am starting to like my baths a little bit more now. Mom had been putting me in my own bathtub inside the big tub, but that was a little much for me so we tried the sink again and it felt much safer. And I thought, if my rubber ducky can do it, then so can I! I almost wanted to crack a smile, but lets not get too out of hand. Baby steps! I dread the day I get too big for the sink, and I'm afraid its right around the corner!

I love Wednesdays!!

Wednesdays are both me and Mom's favorite days because we go to Aunt Sheri and Uncle Arnie's for a homemade meal! Lots of people come; Daddy, Grandma, Vicky, Maddi, Logan, and Hunter. I'm really looking forward to when I actually get to eat the food! Mom says its delicious! Me and Hunter were playing on the floor and I did my famous trick, "Got your nose!". I think its funny, but I might be the only one! Thats me and..........I think thats my Mom in those glasses?? She blames losing her perfect eye sight on me. Mom and Dad carved those beautiful pumpkins. They'll look really good all lit up on Halloween night.

HELP!!! Girls all around me!!!

My cousin Sidney was baptized on Sunday and Mommy and Daddy are her Godparents. I spent the day with a lot of girls!!!! You'll see the only boy in any of these pictures is my Daddy, and he ventured down to the basement with the rest of the boys shortly after. Oh yea, Zevlen was there too but all he did was sleep. Come on guys, we're supposed to stick together! Maddi and me played in Regan and Sidney's kitchen and I had a blast! I want one really bad but my Daddy says "Boys don't play in kitchens!". Little does he know me and Mom already added it to my Christmas list (yea, I know it'll be a couple years before I can actually play in it). We even found one with an outdoor grill, now how manly is that!!! I also played with my penguin. That thing makes me laugh so loud!!! I get to hit, punch, and kick it! The perfect toy for a boy!

Cozy.....

So its gotten even colder than the last time Mom and me went outside!!! I am warm and cozy in my carseat cover!! And Mom says this face is the cutest ever!!

Times at home

These are just a few pics of me hanging out at home with Mom. We steal Daddy's change when he's not looking and put it in my piggy bank. He usually chases us into my room but we're faster and get the money in the bank before he catches us! Its a fun game! We always say, "finders keepers, losers weepers"! Mom took a picture of my butt because there was a frog on it. She's so weird sometimes! I tried riding my rocking lion from Maddi but I'm a little wobbly yet. I'll work on it though. Mom puts me in my pack n' play during the day for a nap, but little does she know, as soon as she puts me down, I open my eyes and start playing. Naps are for babies, and I'm a big boy!!! Last time I wasn't sneaky enough and I accidentally hit my rainforest toy and it started playing......busted!!!! Whoops! I better learn more about this before I start sneaking out of the house or I'll be in big trouble!
