Football Game!!

We went to cousin Dusty's Nicollet High School football game and Hudson was so excited! He talked about it all day! I told him he had to wait for the moon to come out before we could go, then he found the moon at 4:30! So I told him he had to wait until the stars came out! He got a blue football painted on his hand which he loved showing off, especially because it was his favorite color! He was simply fascinated by the big kettle corn machine and watched them make batch after batch. Daddy and him played their own football game and he ran the ball in for a touchdown, after a few fumbles of course! And to top it all off, it was homecoming so there was a mini-parade at halftime! Hudson was in his glory!

And Paxton snuggled in tight with Grandma Sharon to keep warm. He eventually fell asleep and Grandma Sharon wanted to take him home with her, but Hudson was quick to tell her that "Baby Brother needed to go home to Hudsy's house"!
The Nicollet Raiders won the game 47-0! Great game Dusty!

Outside at Sheri's house....

Just another scary head.....
It took Hudson awhile to warm up to this scary, laughing wizard but he's somewhat obsessed with it now!
And the boys may or may not have tossed around Sheri's pumpkins and gourds :)

Jones Photography :)

The Johnson clan went out to the Nordby's and had our picture taken by Grandma Marsha. They have a beautiful fall set up and a huge pumpkin patch! Hudson wanted nothing more than to play with Brody, but did his best to sit through some pictures after Marsha promised him a sucker!
Thank you so much Marsha!

Daddy came to school.....

And danced with Hudson and the orange scarf! As Daddy watched Hudson sit quietly, watching the other kids sing the song, just a little too nervous to sing along right away, he said to me, "Hudson is exactly like I was when I was little."

Soaking....

This beautiful boy got his first of 2 flu shots today so he spent some extra time soaking in the bathtub.

Motorcycle

Every week Hudson "checks out" a toy from his school's toy library and then returns it the following week for a new one. So far he has picked a lawn mower, vacuum, and now, his favorite; a motorcycle! He has ridden this bright red motorcycle all around the house for the past week. We'll see what he checks out tomorrow!

At Century 21......

We went to Century 21 Realty this morning and gave some food to the food shelf, and then we got to pick out pumpkins. Hudson picked one out for him and his brother. They also had a little set up for pictures.
Notice Hudson's hand on top of Paxton's head, that's his way of holding his baby brother.
Such heart-felt kisses!

Beautiful Fall Day

It was a perfect day for a walk to the park. Hudson likes to ride in his wagon now so his brother can come with. He says Baby Brother has to wear his seatbelt but he doesn't because, "I'm the big brother, not the baby brother."
Paxton LOVES riding in the wagon and rocks back and forth when he wants to go more!
Big smiles for Daddy! I love it when Pax scrunches his nose!
Daddy and Hudsy were throwing up piles of leaves.
And Paxton liked squishing them in his fingers and toes.

9 Month Stats

Paxton had his 9 month check up today and as we suspected, he's tall and thin! He weighed in at 17 lbs. 10 oz., only the 7th%, and is 28 3/4 inches tall, 63rd%. Although he doesn't love doctor visits as much as his older brother, he is still very good there! He quietly lets the doctors and nurses poke him and make silly faces at him. He just needs to keep one hand on Mommy's arm at all times to ensure I don't go anywhere.

CRUNCH!!

Hudson crunched all the leaves on his trampoline; jumping, rolling, and running around!

Brother Outtakes

It is NOT easy getting a picture of these two boys together......
In this picture, Hudson had just gotten done shoving his baby brother away from him, in turn making poor Paxton cry.
And in this one, Hudson is yelling, "I wanna get doooooown!"

Just Paxton.......

PuMpKiNFeSt

We took advantage of this beautiful day and went to Pumpkinfest! Paxton liked all the bright orange pumpkins, even being IN one! And Hudson loved the animals!

Package from Illinois!!

Thank you so much to Uncle Bill and Aunt Sandi! Hudson loved getting a package in the mail. His eyes lit up with every trinket he found in the Halloween goodie bag. He loves tattoos so we had to put one on each hand right away! What a fun surprise!

Hudson & Paxton (and Jamie & Ashley) send love back to you!

Homecoming Parade

It was a little chilly but the boys love parades! Hudson got candy, bouncy balls, and pom-poms!

Twins Game

Jamie and I don't go many places just the 2 of us, so the Twins game tonight was a date for us. But as we were leaving, Jamie mentioned that it was nice to do something just us, and I ended his sentence by saying, "But I miss the boys." We thought of them while we were there and bought Hudson a banner. How convenient that there happens to be a player on the team with his name!

9 Months Old!!

Paxton is 9 months old today and the poor baby is suffering from a double ear infection. He tries hard to be in good spirits but enjoyed most of the day snuggling with Daddy and Grandma.

School Night

Hudson enjoyed another evening of school. He really likes going and talks about it a lot, remembering everything he did. Tonight his favorite activity was playing in the corn. He was excited because it was corn just like Grandpa has in his fields! His buddy Brody was a big fan of it too, and they both sat so nicely for snack!

Brody's House

We went to Brody's house today to pick pumpkins, which Hudson was very excited to do.....until we got there! Then all he wanted to do was play with Brody. He loved riding around in the gator and tractor wagon. And Brody only dumped him out once! Hudson laughed and asked to do it again. Thanks to Mommy, we did manage to pick out 3 pumpkins, and Brody picked us one more! He's proud of his pumpkins.

Scarecrow Festival

We spent the beautiful Sunday afternoon at Emma Krumbee's Scarecrow Festival. Hudson enjoyed every minute of it, and everything it had to offer! He loved all the pumpkins, trying to lift the heaviest ones. He thought the scarecrows were funny looking and wanted to go on the horses and choo-choo train again and again! Paxton was busy just watching all the action, and went on his first train ride with Daddy. And they both enjoyed a yummy treat; Hudson shared carmel apples with Grandma and Paxton had ice cream with Mommy.

After the festival we headed over to Jim's Apple Barn where Hudson only had eyes for this green caterpillar sucker!
