Yes, it's a doll stroller!!

With Maddi home from college, it's not hard to guess who would've come up with this idea!! Hudson thought pushing Paxton in the doll stroller was hilarious, and Paxton was happy to go along for the ride!

And of course, Hudson had to try it out too! Never without his sucker in hand!

Happy Birthday Maddi!!

Maddi came home to celebrate her 22nd birthday. We went out to eat at Mommy's favorite place, Plaza Garibaldi, and then to Sheri's house for cake and presents. Hudson helped Maddi open her presents, but he gave her the most special gift, and I'm sure her favorite....one of his sticky, gooey eyeballs he treasures so much! She should feel awfully special that he wanted to share one of those with her.
Blowing out her candles. And no, that isn't a magical color changing sucker he's holding (notice the green one in the picture above)...Maddi gave him a package of Toy Story suckers and of course, he had to try all 3 kinds! By the way Maddi, he's already talking about how you're buying him more from the store....hint, hint ;)
Paxton playing with Logie and Dominique. He's in the middle of "SOOO BIG!".

MoWin' the LaWn

Hudson finally wanted to ride on the lawn mower! Daddy has been begging him all summer to ride with him. Hudson loved it and grabbed the steering wheel right away. He mowed the entire lawn and wanted to do it all over again.

The Laundry Shoot

When we bought this house we wondered why in the world they would've put a laundry shoot door in the kitchen, but, someone sure gets a kick out of it! Daddy throws his clothes down the shoot from upstairs and Hudson watches in the kitchen as all the clothes fall through to the basement. He also scolds Daddy when he finds his socks laying on the living room floor and tells him, in a very stern voice, that dirty socks go down the shoot, as he runs to throw them down himself! I hope he keeps up with this fascination through his teenage years!

Swinging again....

The weather keeps teasing us with just one more day of high enough temperatures to play outside. The boys once again swang their hearts out while Daddy slaved away, ridding the lawn of all the leaves. Thank you Veteran's Day, for giving Mommy a beautiful day off!

Hudson loved watching Daddy.

Just a story.....

On our way to daycare this morning, Hudson was telling me where everyone lives and this is what the conversation led to.....

Hudson says, "Daycare is on Payne Street Mommy. And Hudsy lives on Oakwood." Then looking over at Paxton he says, "Baby Brother should go live on Payne Street too so just Hudsy lives on Oakwood."

There's not much "brotherly love" on Hudson's end. Poor Paxton!

Backyard

It was possibly the last time this fall that we were able to play out in the backyard....until we make snowmen that is!
Hudson in the sandbox using "tongue sticking out" kind of concentration.
Paxton's first time on the trampoline. He loved it when Hudson would jump close to him and he'd fly up in the air! And it only made Mommy a little bit nervous.

Perfect Sunday

It was beautiful Sunday so after nap we rushed outside and to the park before the sun went down (dang Daylight Savings!).

We took the "back roads" to the park and found this gorgeous, orange pine tree on the way.
Going down the big, winding slide......
And Hudson was quick to follow us!
Big time smooches from Daddy!
Naughty Daddy threw a bunch of leaves at Mommy!! Hudson thought it was hilarious of course!

kind of embarrassing.....

This isn't the cutest face my beautiful baby boy makes, but I feel the need to share it. To get the full effect you'll have to imagine a snorting sound as well. He thinks it's hilarious and loves it even more if you copy him and do it too!
But to remind you all just how cute Paxton is, here he is at his best :) Wet shirt from drool and all!

New Tattoo

Showing off his "pretty girl" tattoo he got from Perkins. Thank you Aunt Sheri!

New Decorations

Sheri put her Thanksgiving decorations up and Hudson offered to pose by them. Shocking that his attention span lasted long enough for a picture, I know! And he actually enjoyed it!

And Paxton just sits wherever we put him.

Oh Dear!!!

This is how we all feel sometimes when Hudson is running around like a crazy 2 year old, making all sorts of noise and commotion! Even Paxton thinks his big brother is somewhat nutty!

Stairs.....

"Look at how high I am!!"
This little boy has mastered the stairs and thinks going up and down is funnest thing! But not to Mommy and Daddy! We tell him the stairs are a no-no, however Hudson makes them even more intriguing by laughing at Paxton and crawling up and down with him.

Puppy Party!

Maddi's puppy, Nala and the Ahlness' puppy, Halle shared their birthday party with Halloween. They even got a birthday cake, but look who enjoyed it the most! Sticking his fingers in the delicious, sugary frosting right before bedtime!!

Halloween Activities.....

We did a few more Halloween activites this weekend. Hudson loved pounding in the golf tees at both parties we went to, so Daddy found some tees at home and let Hudson pound away!
We also made some ghost marshmallow suckers! Hudson loved dipping the jumbo marshmallows into the melted frosting, and then giving them smiley faces!

Enjoying his hard work!

Trick-or-Treat

And the boys put on their costumes for the last time. The tiger was more than excited to go trick-or-treating and get loads and loads of candy! He was definitely on a sugar high, drunk on suckers! Big ones, little ones, caramel apple ones, skeleton ones, ones with spiders in the middle.....every Halloween kind on the face of this universe! He knocked on doors, stating "I am here for trick-or-treating! I want that kind of candy please, thank you!" And the spider came along for the ride, receiving ooo's and ahh's for how cute he was! And I may be biased, but man was he ever adorable! And I'm not sure spiders have cute, black button noses, but Aunt Vicky insisted!

Halloween Gift Giving

In this family we give gifts for every holiday, and Halloween is no different! So the fun started with a little, I mean A LOT of present opening! The boys thank everyone for all of their great presents!
"Can somebody please get this open for me!!"
A tractor in his favorite color....BLUE!!!
The perfect pillow to snuggle up with!

Pumpkin Carving

We carved our 3 pumpkins today, in Sesame Street theme......
Daddy did Bert & Ernie, and Mommy did Elmo.
We went to the basement to light them up.....7 times per Hudson's request! He's going to love Aunt Sheri's house tomorrow night!

Halloween Party #2

Today we headed over to Courtland's Halloween Party and again, the boys had fun, mostly playing in the corn bins! Hudson got his face painted again, this time a candy corn and a BLUE ghost! He told the lady to make it his favorite color, so blue it was! After Paxton enjoyed a pumpkin cookie, he fell asleep right on Daddy's lap. He was Halloween Party'd out! I think Mommy and Daddy were too!
Playing with their cousins; Bryce, Morgan and Alyssa.
A spider digging for spiders...
CHEEKS!!
Hudson and Brody...Brody was rocking the bench and Hudson was laughing hysterically!
And our poor, headless spider
