More Baking

More snow....more baking! Grandma brought brownies to bake with Hudson today. He missed the bowl with cracking the first egg! Whoopsie!
A priceless, Hilter-like chocolate mustache! With a silly face to go along with it!

Johnson Christmas

It's tradition every year to go to the Immanuel Lutheran church's Christmas program. Hudson loved hearing his cousins sing, and holding the candle during Silent Night. Paxton ate puffs the whole time! Afterwards, we went to Grandma Sharon's house to open gifts.
Morgan is such a good helper with the boys, especially Paxton.
Daddy showed Hudson all of his tractors from when he was a little boy.
The boys opening presents.
Hudson got a new car, rides it all over the house! Mommy is under the weight limit, so I ride it around the house too! If we had 2, we could race!

Merry Christmas Johnson family!

Baking Candies

Grandma and Hudson baked candies on Saturday afternoon. Mommy liked to call them reindeer turds and Grandma said reindeer eyeballs. We don't know what they're really called, but they are pretzels with a Rolo melted in the middle, and an M&M stuck inside. And they are YUMMY!!

Seeing Santa again!

We went to see Santa again!! Much to Hudson's liking, Paxton wasn't a big fan of Santa and only stayed on his lap for a minute, then Hudson had him all to himself! Santa knew Hudson likes tractors, combines, and semi trucks just like his Grandpa and Hudson couldn't believe it. His mouth dropped open and he smiled!
So they talked and talked about all Santa could bring Hudson this Christmas!

And Santa thanked Hudson for being such a good boy this year and reminded him to be a good big brother too!

Uncle J.J.'s Surprise Party

We surprised Uncle Jeff for his 40th birthday and were all waiting for him at the Pizza Ranch when he walked in.
Hudson thoroughly enjoyed his chocolate pudding, black olive, and crouton supper!
And of course a dip in the frosting of Jeff's cake!
Paxton had A LOT of fun with his spoon!
Declyn and Hudson played with the 25 cent toys they bought.
Hudson in Declyn's camo Santa hat. Everything is camo in the Johnson family!
Happy 40th Birthday Uncle Jeff!

It seems as though...

Everyday at the Johnson household is like Christmas....with Grandma and the aunts around! They all brought over delicious treats today! Cookies, suckers, and candy canes galore!
Hudson and Paxton are obsessed with these "bubba suckers" as Hudson calls them. He expects one from Vicky everytime she walks through the door, and she never disappoints!
Paxton sucked down his bubba sucker in no time (hence the messy, wet shirt!). The extra sugar gave him the engery to walk right across the living room! He can take about 6 steps at a time.

Christmas Card Outtakes

Whoops!
My personal favorite!
Supposed to be a kiss. Not sure what really happened?
Certain no one wanted to see this face on their Christmas card!
Hold your brother nice, please!
They look thrilled don't they!?!?

Monday Night Football

Daddy loves to have company over when he's watching the Vikings so when the game got switched to Monday night, he was quick to plan his little get together. Uncle Lon, Ditty, Hunter, and Grandpa came over to watch the Vikings lose. Hudson and Paxton don't care one bit about winning or losing, they love the company as much as Daddy does!

Leave it to Hudson to tickle his tummy with the Christmas tree!

Snow Day #2

Hudson and Daddy got up bright and early to make blueberry muffins.
Hudson took his job very seriously. And had a little fun too!
Made sure they were cool enough before.....
biting into one!!!
Paxton got in a few rounds of "The Babies".
While Hudson watched Daddy blow the snow.
Laughing at Paxton's most silly face, which gave him the new nickname--Duckbill!
A few extra tight squeezes.
A constant burning fire.A little Santa hat wearing.
Some sucker sharing between brothers.
And some play-doh playing.

And the boys all tucked in by eight o'clock.

What to do on a snowy day??

Make a tower of Christmas books and animals.
Lick the cold, snowy window.
Stand on your tippy toes to see the neighbors Christmas lights over the snow.
Eat the delicious dinner Daddy made; chicken kiev, wild rice, mashed potatoes, and corn.
Help Mommy with the dishes.
And in between all that we watched Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer, Frosty the Snowman, Olive the Other Reindeer, The Santa Clause, The Santa Clause 2, and The Santa Clause 3!!!
See what we can find to do to fill the snow day tomorrow.......

Is anyone looking???

Paxton's favorite thing......taking down all the books!!
