I took this as a hint from Paxton that he was sick of sitting in his bath seat. But up until this point, he's been really good in it, and since he usually bathes with his brother who loves him so very much (sense the sarcasm!) he's been much safer in the seat.

But I gave in and packed the seat away....Pax is free!

BIRTHDAY CAKE!!

Paxton finally got to dig into his very own birthday cake. I wanted to wait until he was feeling better so he could fully enjoy it.......and he did!!

Betcha can't guess who's little hand that is!?! He enjoyed it too.

More ear infections......

Took the boys in to the doctor today and they both have ear infections. And despite Hudson's tubes, an infection still snuck it's way through, those nasty things! And poor Paxton has a double ear infection. Hudson was so excited to go to the doctor, I think he would've faked an illness just to get to go with! He overheard me telling Pax that he had to go to the doctor, and he quickly interrupted and said, "I better go too, I'm sick." And he gave the doctor orders as soon as we walked in, saying "You better take my temperature and look in my ears. They're blue, my favorite color!" Pax isn't quite as happy about being at the clinic, but cooperative. And they both LOVE their medicine!

We got out the dot paints out today and Hudson and Paxton made their own masterpieces.

Oh, and Daddy did too!
Then we hung them on the new "Masterpiece Wall" in the toy room. I can't wait until its full!

P.S. Daddy's masterpiece didn't make it on the wall :)

We love Chuck!!

Our boys love the Chuck Tonka trucks, and Logie got Pax the stunt park for his birthday. Daddy put it together tonight and he and Hudson had alot fun. I believe Daddy's words were, "This thing amazes me!" Easily amused :) It is really neat, and poor Pax was already asleep when we were playing.

Hudson thought it'd be pretty funny to unzip his jammies. Weirdo!

Paxton's 1st Birthday Party

Through coughs, a runny nose and a bruise/bump on his head (incident from earlier in the day), Paxton enjoyed his birthday party to the fullest!

Another Face

Thank you Grandma and Grandpa for the dual DVD players in the van! The boys love them and can each enjoy their own movie.

We went out to eat for Logie's last day of Christmas break. We are going to miss her SO MUCH.... even though she is coming back this weekend for Paxton's birthday party.....but it'll be a loooong 4 days without her!

The last Vikes game

We went to Uncle Lon and Ditty's for the last Vikings game of the season. The last time we wear the same Vikings outfits, over and over again! Though the Vikes didn't have a great season, we had a great time getting together with family for all the games!

And when Ditty doesn't have push toys, Paxton will make do with a kitchen stool!

Bean bag?!?!?

Grandma bought the boys bean bags for Christmas and they are HUGE to say the least! We only have Hudson's so far because they both couldn't fit in the Jeep, if that tells you anything! Hudson loves his bean bag though.....as a landing pit! He shoves it up to the couch and jumps off. Mommy told him that was against the rules, but only after she took a few pictures first......

We went to Tokoyo!!

Okay....just the restaurant, but it was still really neat! They made the food right in front of us, and both boys were mesmerized. And it was delicious!

Hudson and Paxton watched every move. Listened to the clanking of the utensils.
Simply amazed.....

So close, we felt the heat of the flames.

The second flame was a little much for Hudson and he had to sit on Mommy's lap for the rest. Paxton though, he loved every minute and was excited when the table next to us just started their meal, he got to watch it all over again!

Cowboy Cookies

Another baking day for Hudson. This time Daddy and Hudsy made cowboy cookies.

Hudson was multi-tasking, watching over the cookies and playing his new iXL at the same time. With more of his "stick your tongue out" concentration.
