Peas & Park

Daddy brought home some peas-in-a-pod and we ALL love em'!!

It was Paxton's first taste. I think he liked picking them out of the pod just as much as eating them. And once in awhile took a bite of the pod too.
We beat the rain and spent some time at the park. Daddy and Pax were having a picnic on the steps....Hudsy didn't have time to eat!

Father's Day 2011

It was a Happy Father's Day for our daddy! Hudsy was so excited to finally be able to give him his monster card so HE could have it! Don't you just love how Pax finds his way into these pictures :)

Opening up presents.......what is it? What is it?........
Really?!?!?!?

A Wii!!!!! They both yell out! Hudsy was just as excited as Daddy was! "I play this at daycare!" he says.

Lovin' up on his Daddy.

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY JAMIE!! WE LOVE YOU SO MUCH! (Nice hair by the way, ha!)

Glider

Grandma ordered the boys a new glider for their swingset and its a big hit!! Both love to ride. Pax isn't quite big enough to ride it the right way yet, so he holds on to his big brother for dear life. Cutest thing I ever did see!

Duck Days Parade

We went to our first parade of the year in Lake Crystal. It's tradition for the Nordby's to sit at Meredith's grandpa's house, so we joined in on their front lawn and enjoyed the floats.

Paxton and Daddy waving at the parade going by.

Paxton leaning in for a kiss from Brenley.
Brothers anxiously awaiting the next float.

The whole crew.

Courtland Softball

The Johnson's headed out to Courtland tonight for dinner at Swany's and softball games. It was a fun night....when Hudson wasn't embarrassing me by telling everyone who he saw smoking that their smoke was stinky and they should quit. His message was good, but the way he presents it could use a little work.

This little boy is really finding his personality, and he's a real jokester.

Crawling up the wall to order his candy. He went from Grandma Sharon, to the next aunt, and the next aunt...getting all the candy his little heart and sweet tooth desired!
Of course they didn't pay much attention to Morgan's game (Hudsy picked watching Morgan's game over Daddy's) but they were well behaved boys....about as good as two boys playing in the water fountain can be!

And they sure looked cool!

low-key weekend

Saturday:

Cool Hudsy and his look-out Pax.

Ah man!! What'd we hit??
Sunday:
We ran errands in Mankato, first to Sam's Club where Hudson and Paxton enjoyed the samples.

Next to Lowe's.

And to Scheel's, which is almost like a zoo!

And little helicopter ride to top it off.

Zevlen's Birthday

The boys all ready to go to Zevie's party....

Maddi bought Hudsy more splat balls.....he's in love!
Happy Birthday Zevie! We love you! Sorry about the pee ;)

*fingerpainting*

Since it was a bit too chilly outside today, we opted to fingerpaint instead. Hudson surprised me and dove right in! And he only reminded me to wipe him up when he was all done about 100 times! It was educational too, he realized all by himself that mixing red and blue makes a new color...purple!

This boy got sick of painting, and starting coloring the floor. I slipped a piece of paper under him while he wasn't looking.

Painted from head to toe.

And they jumped right in the bathtub!
