Bath Hugs

Bath time is usually Daddy's duty, but while Daddy is away, Mom is in charge of everything. And after each of them had a time out for hitting the other, for some reason, they decided to show their love in the bathtub.

Bye Daddy!

Daddy left today for a fishing trip and he won't be home for "lots of days" (until Sunday). So Hudson had some extra cuddle time with him this morning.......

but this little boy was too busy playing with his big brother's cookie game. This is usually off limits to him, per Hudson's orders, so he took full advantage of this!
And he's just a goofball!

ECFE

This cool dude had school tonight. And even though we go at 6:30pm, when the sun is setting, he still likes to wear his sunglasses.

Eventually he hangs them from his shirt, just like Grandma does. He's showing me how messy he and the floor got. They had made a mixture of flour and baby oil....lots of messy fun!

sunday happenings.....

We started the day early with work in the living room. Daddy is replacing the tile (and soon the carpet!) and Hudson wanted to help. Of course, the destruction of the old tile was the funnest part. Daddy showed him how to do it.....

But then he handled it all by himself, with Daddy's encouragement.
After the hard work, the boys played the fishing game.
And Paxton was SO excited when he caught a fish!

During lunch, they put black olives on their fingers....and "smiled" for a picture.

And at supper, Hudson asked why I gave him a fork because he could eat noodles and vegetables with his fingers. He also had his jammies on a little early. He wants to put his clothes on by himself, so he's changing during the day several times. In and out of clothes and jammies.

Visiting Baby Reese

We went to visit Baby Reese on Saturday and Hudson was in love! He just had to constantly touch her, rub her head, hold her hands. He was in awe. I was surprised because usually its Paxton who likes babies, but he was a little shy around Reese's daddy and stuck closer to Mom and Dad.

He's going to love his baby sister....maybe too much.

29 weeks & Hud

This 29 week + 2 day picture comes to you courtesy of Jamie. He just had to take a picture this morning because he loved how my belly looked. And that sweet husband told me over and over again today how beautiful I am. Thanks Jamie! I love you.

After waking Hudson up, I still had my camera upstairs and he said he wanted a picture with me. He assured me he was smiling, and thought it was just hilarious when I turned the camera around to find THIS face!

Sheri's Bday- Take 2

It was Sheri's second birthday party tonight and at this one the boys got to open presents. They were more excited to help Sheri than they are for their own gifts!

She got a new suitcase to take to Las Vegas. The boys were testing it out, seeing if they can sneak along with her.

Sheri's Birthday

It was Sheri's real birthday today, and although we're celebrating her again tomorrow, we still went out to eat at Happy Joe's tonight. Out of the big prize cabinet, Hudson picked these eyeball glasses!

And Paxton devoured Sheri's birthday sundae! Right down to the last melted drop.

Girl in 3D

With every baby, we've taken the opportunity to have a 3D/4D ultrasound done. It's so fun to picture what our baby-to-be is going to look like. And this baby girl, just like our boys, is beautiful. One difference, the technician told us she already has hair! Seeing both of the boys were pretty much bald at birth, I'll be surprised to see if this is true. And if it is, it'll make me a believer of the old wive's tale that baby having hair causes Mommy heartburn, because I have it everyday all day!

She was all curled up, with hands AND feet up by her face.

And this was Baby Girl's entourage! We packed 10 guests into that room. Thank you all for coming. It means so much that you are all just as excited as we are.

And this is our lucky girl's closet full of clothes already! Grandma sure is good as spoiling her grandkids!

The Wii

At the ripe old age of 3, Hudson has become addicted to the Wii. We've had to put some restrictions on how many nights a week he can play, and for how long. He starts to get a stiff neck and we literally have to pick him up and put him on a chair. He thinks MarioKart is the greatest thing ever! He coaxed Hunter into playing with him tonight.

He really concentrates with that tongue hanging out!

bathtime fun

28 weeks

We're in the 28th week, and had a doctor appointment this afternoon. Baby girl is right on track and we scheduled the c-section for May 8th. Still growing.....everywhere! I wanted to just post the picture below, without my big fat face, but Jamie said that was dumb of me so you get both. Chubby cheeks and all!

TV and Games

It's starting already....ignoring Mom's yelling that supper is ready. One boy in the toy room watching Mickey Mouse and the other......

in the living room playing Mario Kart on the Wii (sitting on the new chair we got for baby's room).
After a forced dinner, Hudson went right back to his video game, so Mommy had a new baking partner.

This one enjoyed the cake batter just as much!

And they both came back to sprinkle.

Amy came down this weekend for a girls night out and stayed at our house. The boys took advantage of playing with her, and even got her to watch Mickey Mouse in the toy room.

They both tried on her "thigh high" boots.
And she wrapped Paxton up in her scarf that he was a bit obsessed with.

Thanks for staying with us Amy! The boys are still checking if you're sleeping in the basement.

Trays

Having lunch on the new activity trays Grandma got them.

Ice fishing- but not for real....

Daddy was getting his ice fishing gear ready and the boys had fun playing around inside the house.

Hudson went with Daddy to pick up some minnows.

a BIG Valentine's Day post...

We celebrated a lot of Valentine's today, starting with the boys wearing their V-day shirts to daycare and bringing treats for the party. When we got home they opened their gifts from Mom and Dad. Hudson got pop beads to make critters and animals, and a police car.

Another pair of sunglasses for Paxton because he loves them!
And a vacuum because he's obsessed with vacuuming!

These were the Valentines they made for Mom and Dad at daycare.

Then we went out for supper and had some fun while waiting for our food.

After that, Pax had his first night of ECFE. He brought Brenley a flower, making him the sweetest boy in class. And she was proud of her flower.
