Hudson can ride his bike!!

At six years old, Hudson finally learned to ride his bike without training wheels. And it probably never would've happened had a training wheel not broke off. He tried to fight it, saying he didn't want to ride his bike, he had better things to do, but I got home from work on Wednesday afternoon and there he was, over in the church parking lot, barely moving as Jamie ran behind him holding him up, begging him to keep pedaling. Hudson could only stay stubborn for a little while, I think he realized pretty quick that he could do it, it wasn't that hard, and it was actually pretty fun. Before we knew it, he was off! Taking laps up and down the parking lot, a little cautious at the turns and stopping but that will all come with practice. My favorite part, the smile he's trying so desperately to hide. He's too proud though, that smile shines through. And we're so proud of him!! Let's hope his 6th year brings many good things!
