In the bathtub, Paxton can be explained in one word- "fish". He loves it! And he's getting brave. Washing his hair, putting his face in, laying down "swimming" from one end to the other, letting Mommy see her most favorite thing about summertime.......

a white butt, that has never seen the sunshine! By far, the greatest of all tan lines!

Someone in this house is having a birthday tomorrow (ahem...Daddy) so Hudsy and I decided to bake that special person a cake. And wear the bowl as a hat!

The Flitters gave Hudsy this gun for his birthday, it shoots out sponge balls. And there's something about the picture below that scares this Mommy half to death!

Before the heat....

We ran some errands early this morning and I promised the boys if they were good, we could go to the park before the heat and humidity set in.....they were angels, so to the park we went!

Plumber's Crack

If you look close enough, you might see a slight.....ahem, crack in the vicinity of this little guy's bottom. As his mother, I'm obligated to tell you that its adorable!

Outfit Preview

Hudson and Paxton (and the whole family) had their pictures taken this evening with Grandma Marsha. Here's a little preview of their handsome outfits. Paxton was her best model, posing just the way she asked, smiling or giggling at silly Meredith. He was done in no time! Hudson on the other hand took a little, oh who are we kidding, A LOT more coaxing! Suckers, cookies, crackers, Sour Patch Kids, and the promise of pop and ice cream....an hour later he may have given some type of smile/laugh that Grandma Marsha can work with. It'll take some editing magic!

Our 4th of July weekend.....

The boys started out Sunday afternoon swimming in the little pool.

And running through the sprinkler.

Then we headed to Uncle Lon and Ditty's to grill out and do some fireworks. These goofballs were doing who knows what in the bathroom and Logie caught it on camera.

Silly faces!Pax always has to be right in the middle of everything, seeing what's going on, and the fireworks and smoke bombs were no different. His big brother on the other hand, watched from a safe distance.

Can't get much closer than walking through the smoke!

Today we spent the afternoon at Sleepy Eye waterpark and the boys had a GREAT time! Paxton would live in the water. He loves every minute and gets so mad whenever someone helps him. He doesn't care if he goes under one bit! He loved jumping in to Daddy!

And going down the big water slide with Mommy! He would smile and giggle the entire way down, looking back up at me to check if I was having just as much fun.
