Harlow had her 2 month well baby check up yesterday. These appointments are always a little bittersweet. We get to see how much she's growing, get reassured that she is most definitely just as perfect as we think she is, but she also gets shots. 3 of them to be exact. And for some reason, with a girl, its a little bit worse seeing her hurt and crying. Hunter came with us and although she herself had to plug her ears and look away, she said Harlow "took it like a champ". Dr. Frani said Harlow is a very strong little girl, emphasis on the little, weighing 10 lbs 4 oz (only the 25th percentile) and is 22.5 inches long (53rd percentile- however I'm certain she was stretched an extra half inch and is really only 22 inches). But the best news, she doesn't have the large head her brothers have, ha! Her's is only in the 30th percentile! Petite girl.
Hunter gave her some extra snuggles after those nasty shots.
Because of the pokes (see the giant band aids) she had a temp of 99 and got her first ever dose of Tylenol and slept from 9:30pm-8:00am. And this morning, she seems to be her normal happy self, already taking her morning nap to be fully rested to go see a new baby friend this afternoon.
