The night of the 3rd, we drove out to Cambria to watch the fireworks. Harlow stayed sleeping in her carseat, but the 4 of us gathered in the front seats of the car, safe from the heat and mosquitos.
The boys were very excited for the fireworks. Hudson commented on each and every one, and Paxton clapped.
During the day on the 4th, the boys spent the afternoon in the pools outside.
Then, per tradition, we headed out to the Ahlnesses for food and fireworks. It was a scorcher outside, but we had a nice breeze out back so we could still enjoy the outdoors.

And Grandpa brought a truckload of fireworks. They put on a good show! And Hanska topped it off with about 12 minutes of a nonstop, AWESOME show!!!! Despite the heat, we had a really nice holiday with family.
