Baby swing

Mommy was cleaning up the house and we found my baby swing. Since I love my outside swing so much, I thought I'd give it another try and.......well, you can tell by the look on my face that I wasn't really a fan! Thank goodness we're getting another baby that can use it because I'm done!

I learned how to crawl up the stairs!! And on my first try. Watch out now....here I come!

Kiddie Pool

Before my mommy and daddy went away for the weekend to celebrate their 2nd wedding anniversary, she took me to the pool and I LOVED every minute of it!!! Hunter took me down the froggie slide a bunch of times, but I even went down by myself, just holding my mommy's hand! We stayed there all afternoon but I still didn't want to go! I can't wait to go back!

New Camera

Mom got a new camera so she was trying it out, and I was her model. I did lots of poses; peaking out over a book, my best cheesy smile, and of course sticking my tongue out! Oh, and I was modeling nude!!! She's so lucky to have me as her subject!

Notice anything strange???

Grandma changed my diaper this afternoon and for some reason I wasn't able to walk as good as I thought I could. I thought I was losing it until Ditty (Aunt Vicky) finally noticed that both of my feet were going through ONE pant leg!!!!! Now I realize sometimes Grandma has to wear glasses for reading, but now she can't see my 2 feet!?!?! And it took awhile for someone to fix me because Grandma, Ditty, and Mommy were all on the floor laughing.

Bavarian Blast Parade

We went to watch the Bavarian Blast parade this afternoon and was a good one, at least to me! Grandpa and Daddy were having a beer and I thought since I was a guy I should have one too, but even after all that begging, the answer was still no. It was a lot of work watching all those floats go by, clapping, and dancing to the music. After the parade it was nap time for this little guy!

Hurry up guys!

Mommy, Daddy, Grandma and me walked to the craft show at the fairgrounds (it was NOT worth our energy!) and Daddy pulled me in the wagon and got way ahead of Mommy and Grandma! I was worried they weren't going to catch up. I kept yelling for them, but they said "One of us is pregnant and the other is old, we can't go that fast!!". Then I had to warn Daddy that he was turning down the "closed road". He just can't be trusted! ;)

Happy Birthday Mommy!!!

Me and Daddy (and I guess Baby can have some credit) gave Mommy roses on her birthday. 26 of them for how many years old she is. Aren't we the sweetest boys!!!

Meeting Baby

Mommy, Daddy and I walked to the hospital to meet new baby, Brogan Hulke. I wanted to touch the baby but Mommy and Daddy made sure I was nice and gentle with her. She had lots of hair that was very tempting to pull but I was able to contain myself! Mommy said we're jealous of her beautiful hair! Her mohawk was better than mine and she's a girl. I got in some good practice for meeting my baby sibling.

Too much fun!!

Me and Daddy had A LOT of fun with the packing bubbles that came in the mail today! They made loud popping sounds and I loved it! Daddy would lift me up so I could jump on them and POP POP POP!!!!

Already addicted to the phone...

Just talking on the phone, like I do every night. Sometimes its to Mommy or Daddy, sometimes to Grandma or Grandpa. Anyone really. I just love talking and listening!

Happy Birthday Daddy!

We went to the Mexican Restaurant for my daddy's 30th birthday! Thats right, Daddy is the big 3-0!!!! They put a funny hat on him and sang Happy Birthday, but I didn't understand any of the words. Daddy wasn't very happy that Mommy told them it was his birthday. I was thrilled because he got flan for dessert and I got to eat it all (Mommy and Daddy did NOT like it!). I gave Daddy an air compressor for his birthday. He said he wanted one even though Mommy has no idea why. She says it'll sit in the box in the corner of the garage, but shhhhh, don't tell Daddy I told you that!

Our family is getting bigger....

I'm gonna get a little brother or sister!! Mommy has a baby growing in her belly and that means I'm going to be a big brother! Daddy says the baby will arrive sometime in December. Mommy says its a boy, but Daddy says its a girl, so I don't know who to believe. Either way I'm going to be the best big brother I can be! I'm already kissing the baby in my new book just like I'll kiss my baby sibling. Thank you Grandpa Arnie and Auntie Sheri for the book! I'm learning just what I need to do to get ready for baby!

Bubbles!!

It was kind of raining outside but me and Daddy still wanted to go out and blow bubbles, so we sat in the doorway of the deck. I even blew some!

North Mankato Fun Days

Me, Mommy, Daddy, Grandma, Maddi, and Zevlen went to Fun Days in Mankato. It was a fun afternoon! Mommy was nervous that I wouldn't like the rides by myself but I loved it! I steered my boat and cars, honked the horn, and clapped my hands with glee! The only not so fun part was the ferris wheel. I was scrunched in between Mommy and Daddy and couldn't see a thing. I think I'm better on my own.

Walking!!!!

I'm becoming a pro at walking now! I take laps into the living room, then into the kitchen, and back around again. Everyone is so proud of me!

I found a friend.....

Well, sort of! Daddy went to an auction this morning so me and Mommy walked to the park to go swinging. And since I have so much room in my wagon, we brought Handy Manny with us! Mommy even strapped him in just like me. Daddy said this is kind of sad, but we don't care!

Whoops!

Shortly after this picture was taken, I got stuck in between the poles! I spotted Mommy downstairs so I decided to go say hi, not thinking that I'm little enough to fit right through! Thankfully Daddy was there to save me!

One Year Stats

I went to the doctor yesterday for my 12 month check up. I thought maybe I was getting out of it since I've been 1 now for a few weeks, but no such luck. Doctor says I'm perfect with beautiful big brown eyes! I weigh 21 lbs. 10 oz. in the 27th percentile, and I'm 29 1/4 inches tall, 25th percentile. Lots of room to grow! Mom was shocked I only weigh that much because I can usually eat more than her! Doctor says thats okay because I'm perfectly proportioned. At daycare I always win at lunch for who eats the best! I had to get 3 shots and they were NOT fun ones! Mommy said I did a good job though and treated me to ice cream when we got home.

Mornings

This is what I look like in the morning.....sleeping peacefully. And can you believe Mommy still wakes me up to go to daycare?!?!?! How rude!

Milk, Water or Both??

I loooooove to drink my water and my milk!!!! Well, as long as someone puts chocolate in my milk because the white stuff isn't as tasty! Sometimes I can drink a whole cup at a time! But boy do I need to take a big breath after that!

P.S. This is my fake smile! Thats what Mommy gets for taking SO many pictures of me!

Wagon ride

Maddi got me a shiny red wagon for my birthday and I was trying it out with Mommy and Grandma (Daddy's too lazy to come with us!). It was fun, but I needed a friend for the other seat. Its a mighty big wagon for little ol' me!

Monday fun!!

On Monday's my Grandma babysits me and we have lots of fun. I went swimming in my pool and tried so hard to get ALL my toys inside my pool!

And I got a little carried away with my splashing and got some water in my eyes!

But still, nothing is better than when Grandma swings me! She lets me stay in so long, I fall right to sleep.

Pontooning...

Today was my first time on the pontoon. I loved taking a little dip in the lake! Having to wear the lifejacket was a downer but Daddy said we had to be safe!

My July 4th Day

My family and the Ahlness family did lots of fun things for the 4th of July; went to Sibley Park and fed some animals and looked at waterfalls and flowers. No matter what my daddy says, I still love flowers! Then we went mini golfing and I even took a couple swings. At night, we all stayed at the Hilton hotel where I put on my 4th of July shirt and watched the fireworks from the 9th floor balcony suite. It was so much fun, I stayed up until midnight!

I got a new do'

I got my first haircut today. Mom said I was just getting the hairs around my ears trimmed, but Vicky ended up cutting lots of hairs! Even enough to keep for my baby book! I sat on Hunter's lap and got a sucker for being a good boy! I'll have to go monthly to keep up my new look! And just in time for my one year pictures on Friday!
