Carson's Bday

It was Carson's 9th birthday today! We celebrated at Happy Joe's and the boys got to take turns blowing out the candles....in between all the games of course! There were thousands of tickets won...literally! All by lucky Alec!

no nap sunday

Hudson doesn't take a nap most weekends, but today, Paxton didn't have to take one either. We jammed packed our Sunday with too much fun! First, Brody and Brenley came over to play. And for some reason, we ended up spending the playdate in the basement...different toys I suppose. New to them.

 But the strangest place was in the basement shower, that I'm pretty sure has never been used.

 And this afternoon, we went to the Vogel for some swimming. Paxton is a BRAVE swimmer! He was telling Daddy not to catch him and move away. Over and over again he'd say, "Let me go, just let me go!"

 And he didn't care one bit if he went under!

 This little guy on the other hand, is much happier in the hot tub. Complete opposites!



Family Fair

Mom and Dad took the boys to the Family Fair today. They did art activities and ran around like, well, boys!

 And Hudson found one of his favorite teachers, Kelly! She is his classroom's helper and we're so happy she'll be helping again next year!

In sister's room....

Sometimes it's just fun hanging out in baby sister's room. In her crib, snuggling with her toys.

 And reading books with Grandma.

At Applebee's

This little man is a good eater! He eats his meals good......and dessert.....

 He enjoyed each and every bite of the Triple Chocolate Meltdown at Applebee's!

 Until there was none left!

37 weeks

37 weeks.....and Hudson just told me I'm so big I can barely fit in this chair. When I asked him why I was so big, thankfully he said because I have baby sister in my tummy. Unfortunately, he went on to ask, "But then why are your boobies so big?" Depressing moment! Sad when a 3 year old notices.

Why Daddy's Are Fun....

Because although it took Mommy a while to find both boys, certain they BOTH couldn't be on the lawn mower, Daddy says they can!

Because he makes forts out of couches, pillows, and blankets.

And because he gives baths that end up in foamy, sudsy bubble-covered boys, and yells down to Mom- "Bring up your camera!"

Yea, Daddy is the fun one!

Bren's Recital

I took the boys to see Brenley's first ever dance recital. She was adorable!!! We were proud.

Pax's last day of school....

Every week Paxton looked forward to school, he couldn't wait, so it was sad Tuesday night was his last class for the session. Part of the reason he loved it so much had to do with this cute little girl.....Brenley is his favorite playmate.

36 weeks

36 weeks (and 1 day)

We started a countdown for baby sister because the boys were asking when she was coming, how many more days. So they take turns crossing out each day. As of today, we're down to 20!

Baby's Room

Baby's room was a project that took a few days and a few family members to help, but we did it, its finished, and I LOVE IT!!!! Last night before bed, I told Jamie I was just going to go sit in it for awhile, and he looked at me, knowing not to make fun of me while 9 months pregnant, he smiled and said okay. I still can't quite believe we'll be bringing a little girl home to ths room. I documented the process in pictures...

These 3- Arnie, Jamie, and Grandpa put their heads and muscles together and got all the furniture into the room. What you can't see are the 3 cans of beer that motivated their work sitting on the window sill.

Easter 2012

Easter was a busy day with the bunny coming to our house, going to Grandma Sharon's for dinner and the first egg hunt of the day, then back to our house for a second egg hunt, to Ditty's for Easter supper, Hunter and Logie's birthdays, and the third and final egg hunt!

The bunny brought just what Hudson had been asking for- pillow racers and color changing spoons.

They were very excited about their pillow racers!

And an Angry Birds blanket for Hudsy.
They've been zooming around the house ever since!

Pax had a little extra help from Morgan for the egg hunt at Grandma Sharon's.
