a little snotty...

Literally!!
I think Harlow might have a touch of a cold. She was stuffed up through the night, with a little runny nose today, some gunk in her right eye, and a sneeze shot all that snot out....but still smiley, and still just hanging out with Mom.

"where we going now?"

We had a busy little trip away from home this past weekend! The theme according to Paxton was, "Where we going NOW?!?!" He'd ask it every time we got back into the vehicle! We were back and forth to Hunter's softball tournament, Maddi and Logan's apartment as they are moving out (which Hudson simply cannot believe because he remembers moving them in one short year ago!), some shopping at the mall, and the hotel.
The crew getting some shade at Hunter's HOT game on Saturday.
Sid and Hudsy keeping cool with their blue icees.
 L.O.V.E.
Swimming in the hot tub again. My boys would always pick a hot tub over a pool!
 Lounging at the hotel.
We had 3 adults and 3 kids in the hotel suite, therefore, each adult slept with one child. Hudsy picked Sheri, Pax picked Grandma, and Harlow picked Mommy ;)
 Shopping girls.
And an afternoon at Nationals, hanging out with the Ahlnesses.
 Go Huntie!!!

all day

We were outside for 11 hours today. From 10:30am to 9:30pm!! And tonight, the boys fell asleep as soon as their heads hit the pillow, and as I type this, Jamie and Harlow are snuggled up on the couch. We started off with a walk to the park, then Grandma brought us lunch for a picnic, a little playing at home, a walk to another park, a little more playing at home, supper on the deck, and then more playing with the neighbors.

They are something aren't they!?!? Beauties.
Once again, along for the ride.
Eyelashes might be my favorite thing on my kids. Love them.
They enjoyed BIG pickles outside. We found a mysterious jar a BIG pickles in the garage....thanks Grandpa!

sprinkler fun!

We crossed yards into the neighbors and the boys had SO MUCH fun running through their THREE sprinklers with Noah!! It was hard for us adults to find a safe spot. I had to sacrifice being dry to get some pictures. We are so blessed to have a neighborhood full of friends. But poor Harlow, they are ALL crazy, wild, and rambunctious boys!
Paxton, Noah, and Hudson....a little wet!
Pax loves this kind of stuff!
 That face!
My favorite!!! You can tell he had THE MOST fun!!
 Playing together.
 Sweet boys.
Harlow was there too, watching the crazy boys from her stroller. She's happy doing anything.

doing the dishes

Illegal right, putting her in the bumbo on the counter, but it's so much easier and she likes to watch me do the dishes. I even washed more instead of using the dishwasher because she was so happy up there!

Did the same thing with Paxton back in March 2010.

Elyse & Brian's Wedding

The whole family got dressed up to celebrate our cousin Elyse's wedding. The boys had a BLAST running around, dancing, and eating all the candy at the candy bar. Harlow took a nice nap, liked watching the lights from the DJ, and enjoyed everyone adoring her. Here was our night in pictures.....
The handsome boys.
  The Mom and Dad.
The beautiful daughter.
Regs and Harlow....and of course, Ryan sneaking in!
 Happy brothers.
My boys are the BEST at making "icky faces" and they LOVE doing it!

The cousins- Leigha, Jenna, Elyse, Casey, me, and Maddi.
Best of friends- Sidney and Hudsy.
 Our first dance.
Grandma was the dancing queen and the boys loved it...and so did her audience of family watching :)
Daddy has held all of his babies like this and they've all been comforted by it.
And this sweet boy crawled on my lap and fell asleep. Nothing better than holding my sleeping babies.
Congratulations Elyse and Brian!! Thanks for hosting a beautiful celebration, and bringing family together.

Boys Only

Since Jamie got Hudsy the tent for his birthday, he has been loving sleeping in the living room. With or without the tent, he doesn't care, its fun either way. Paxton joins in every once in awhile, but that kid loves sleeping and loves his bed, so he opts for his bedroom sometimes. I love this. I love that my boys, all 3 of them, hang out, do these boy things together. I love that Hudson and Paxton are the best of friends. I love that Hudsy wants Pax to do everything he does. The 18 month age gap between the two boys is perfect!! People may have thought we were crazy having them so close together, but I wouldn't change a thing! And the best part, when the boys are doing this, its just me and Harlow.

Some things that the boys have said lately that makes me smile/laugh-
Hudson while running around the house like crazy with Paxton he says to me: "Mom, I ran by baby with my other foot being very careful because I love her."
Paxton while pooping: "Whoa, look at that big one, its like a snake!" And it was let me tell you. It's amazing what comes out of him sometimes! I don't know how he could ever have worn a diaper and fit all that in there!
Hudson, again while running like crazy with Paxton: "Mom, I remember when you used to run when you were a little girl." I said, "You knew me when I was a little girl?" And he said, "Yea, you were Ashley then."
Paxton says to Hudson: "Brother, how about playing hide n' seek?" Hudsy says, "Sure buddy, you count and come find me, don't look." Pax says, "Okay, I won't...1,2,3....10, here I come." He finds Hudson within a second and says to himself, "I'm awesome at finding you."

Brothers

I was feeding Harlow so it took me a little while to notice that the boys were snuggling on the couch, both playing with their games. Made me smile.

Hanging out with Harlow

I am still LOVING my days home with Harlow.
And she is loving her playmat. Just like her brothers did.

She also likes when I pull her up to a sitting position. And mama loves those big smiles!
