wednesday suppers

With the school year ending, we're on a countdown of our last Wednesday night suppers. Aunt Sheri is being kind and giving us one more next week. It's our favorite day of the week!
This is only the second picture I have with my daughter. I'm always the one behind the camera.
 My crazy kids.

at the friederichs.....

We spent Sunday with family and Harlow got to show off her outfit from Logie.
 Isn't she BEAUTIFUL!!!
 Thanks Logie!
Sidney and Regan met her for the first time and loved holding her and were very patient in taking turns.
All the while, the boys were outside having a blast in the pool!
And snacking with Grandma and Grandpa.
They were brave and each learned how to swim all by themselves with water wings. I was SOOO proud of them!
And they were very proud of themselves!
Hunter gave Hudson an "alfalfa" hairdo. This is our cry for help to Ditty--his hair should never be long enough to do this!
Thanks to Ryan and Liz for hosting the whole family!!

Last Day of Pre-K

Hudson had his last day of preschool today. And today, I dropped off a completely different 3 year old than I did last August. He was brave, had no tears, walked right in, talked to his teachers and friends, gave me a quick kiss (while a little embarrassed) and barely said good bye. Although I can still tell he's nervous, and he'd still pick to stay home with his little brother and baby sister, he's grown and I'm proud. When I asked him if he had fun on his last day, he replied with, "Yea, but I'm not sad its over." Good enough. He'll enjoy his summer off!

First Bath

Harlow's umbilical cord fell off last night while Daddy was changing her, so tonight, she had her first real bath. The boys were so excited to watch her. Hudson has been asking several times a day if her "belly button thingy" fell off yet. They were right there the whole time, one on each side of the sink. And it might look like she cried the whole time, but really she didn't. It wasn't her favorite, but she settled down enough to wash ALL that hair...ha!

Tiny grasp

Something happens to a Mommy with a newborn baby, that just the simple act of holding on to a toy, even though that baby has no clue she's holding on to that toy....is an adorable, picture-worthy moment. And it doesn't even matter that she's sucking on the world's most ridiculous pacifier, that Mommy will still take a picture!

The Babies

We hosted a playdate with a total of 7 kids, but while the big kids played, the babies posed for a couple pictures. Harlow (11 days), Reese (3 months), and Bayler (7 months).

Big Brother Love

Harlow got lots of special attention from her brothers this morning. They gave her hugs, kisses, squeezes, and showed her some toys. It was pretty sweet.

90 degrees

In the 90 degree heat, the boys went swimming in the little pool and ran through the crazy sprinkler. They loved it....alot....check out Paxton's face!

I Love My Auntie

Ditty gave this outfit to Harlow on the day she was born. It says, "I Love My Auntie", and she does!

On the go!

Harlow was on the move today- first to the doctor, then Burger King for lunch, Target to run errands, her first walk in the stroller, and watching her big brothers play in the yard. Poor girl has been napping now for 5 hours!
Our most favorite doctor, Dr. Frani, said Harlow is just perfect! And Harlow shed no tears as Frani looked her over. She weighed 7 lbs. 1 oz. today. As for percentages- weight 23% and height 47%.
In the stroller and ready to go. It was a little bright so we blocked the sun and wind with blankets.
Grandma and Pax followed in the car.
And Hudson led the way on his bike.

 She zonked out almost immediately.
But these boys would never quit. We have a neighborhood of boys here and when the families are outside, they run wild together!
The day wore Harlow out!!
