Spider in June

Hudsy found the old Halloween costumes and decided to be a spider. He wanted to wear it to the park, but I convinced him he'd be way too hot! He said he didn't want to be a "sweaty spider". And anytime Pax spots a camera, that squinty-eyed smile finds it's way out!

CuRLy SLiDe

Hudson learned from his Daddy, and went down the slide head first.

Paxton was so proud for climbing up and going down all by himself! He'd slide down with this shy, "trying not to smile" smile, that melted my heart.

Puppet Wagon

Mommy and Grandma took the boys to German Park to watch the Puppet Wagon. They were entertained enough to sit in the stroller the entire show.

And afterwards, greeted the stars of the show. Paxton was in awe and didn't want to leave them!
But he finally walked away to stuff his face with popcorn!

Splashing in the water fountain.

Both in awe of the backhoe working down the hill.

Friendship Days

No rest for the Johnsons, when we got home from camping on Sunday, we went straight to Nicollet for the Friendships Days parade. The boys love parades, and Pax was great at picking up the candy. He'd run every piece back to me with an "OH!!" face, as though he was shocked at what he was finding.

They would've stayed on these cars all afternoon. In fact, Hudson didn't even get off, just went from car to car, as Mom handed in more tickets.

Aunt Lori took Hudsy on the big slide, I'm not sure who had more fun!?!?
But when she asked him if he wanted to go again....this was his face (below)! She carried him up those steps 4 times! Thanks Aunt Lori!

The whole fam on the merry-go-round. Grandma was nice enough to take our picture even though she doesn't know how to use my camera very well.

Johnson Family Camping Trip

Our family of 4 went camping at Lake Roberds Resort over the weekend. Jamie and I got good exercise chasing after these 2 toddlers, but were able to relax by the fire after they were worn out. The weather didn't exactly cooperate, but we found ways to have fun!

Hudson says movies in the camper was his favorite part. On our way to check out the lake.

Mommy and the boys on the dock...they're both smiling (their smiles)!!

The Johnsons.

When it started raining on Saturday, we headed to Cabella's knowing the boys would like looking at the animals, stuffed or not. When Hudsy seen the elephant, he asked if there was a circus!

Hanging in a camo chair.

After we had all the fun Cabella's had to offer, we went to the Holiday Inn waterpark. The boys LOVED it!!

Daddy and Hudsy going down the tube slide...for the 35th time! He loved it. Pax went down too, but with 2 boys running around a waterpark, pictures aren't always easy to take!

This was Daddy's brilliant idea!

Paxton going down the little slide.

Grandma bought Daddy a popcorn popper for Father's Day and we tried it out over the fire. It worked great!

Hudson had to blow each kernel because it was toasty warm!Being silly by the camp fire.

Hudsy's Day

*warning: too many pictures to follow*

Hudsy's day began with finding his room filled with balloons and "noodles" as he called them. This was the second year we did this and so worth the reaction!

Mommy and Hudsy had a breakfast date at Perkins...this was the only picture he let me take.
I surprised him with even more balloons when we got home.

Present time; even Pax got to have just one.

I was duped by the infomercial for the Gyro Bowl, the minute I seen it I wanted it. Hudsy was testing it out, seeing if he could find a way to spill it......of course Pax found a way!

Kisses for Grandma because she bought him a garbage truck! She really knows the way to his heart. He's been obsessed with everything garbage/garbage trucks for a long time!

Big gift from Mom and Dad.....a 4-wheeler, a BLUE one!

Daddy and Pax chasing after him, at 5 mph!

Showing off his new ride to Carson. He assured him he could ride it too!

Hudsy picked the restaurant for dinner...."the rice place" a.k.a. Chinese. It's his favorite place.....he gets an ice cream cone every time.

And like big brother, like little brother.

Cake time!! I worked hard on making Hudson his dream cake.....BLUE!!!! They thought blowing the candles out was the funniest thing ever!

And did it over and over again.

Blue inside and out!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY HUDSON-BUDSON! WE LOVE OUR 3 YEAR OLD!

(sorry for the overload of pictures....and we haven't even had the party yet!)

Happy 3rd Birthday Hudson Alexander

Three years ago today I was given the sweetest, most precious gift.....the gift of becoming a mother. Thank you, and Happy Birthday to the little boy that gave me that gift....

Hudson Alexander

Daddy, Mommy, and Paxton love you THIIIIIIIIIIIIS much!! (even though today he told me that since turning 3, he still doesn't like kisses)
