Another Circus

Daddy and I took Hudson to the circus in New Ulm. We seen tigers, lions, puppies, camels, and elephants. Hudson even took a ride on the horsey, which meant Mommy got to walk next to him....in the horsey's potty! And even more exciting, the first thing Hudson told Grandma he seen at the circus was the elephant pooping!! Oh, the memories!!

Carson's Bday

We celebrated Carson's 7th birthday at Happy Joe's tonight. Hudson enjoyed playing the games, and Daddy enjoyed it even more! And Paxton, he just enjoys being held. Grandma was on duty tonight!

Daddy-Son Time

Daddy and Hudson had fun running around at Logie's softball game. I always say Jamie is just a big 30 year old kid!

4 Months Old

Our little baby boy Paxton Hunter turned 4 months old yesterday. He's still a Mama's Boy, so if you ask me, I'll tell you he's an angel, but if you ask Daddy he'll give you a slightly different answer. He has rolled over in every direction. He loves watching TV. Last night he watched Avatar with me (because my husband fell asleep 20 minutes in). He loves getting his diaper changed. He loves getting kissed and giggles! He still sleeps in the bassinet crib next to Mommy but I said once he's 4 months I'd move him into his own room......but I don't want to. I love watching him sleep! He goes to the doctor on May 4th, excited to see how much he's grown!

Bath Seat

We're trying different ways of giving Paxton a bath, seeing what works best. And despite that he's my little baby boy in a big bath seat, he did a very good job! We got all his little baby parts all sudsy and clean!

This is a picture of Hudson's first time in the bath seat. Hudson is 5 months here, Paxton is 4 months. Any resemblence??

Fun at the Salon

It was time for Hudson's mohawk to get a trim so off to see Aunt Ditty (Vicky) we went. Hudson loves it at the Cutting Edge! And he sits so patiently while Ditty is at work. When she was finished she asked if he wanted to be done and he said no. First (almost) 2 year old that wants his haircut to last longer!! I still get tears seeing him sit on that big chair all by himself, as he picks each piece of freshly cut hair and throws it to the ground. And what could be more fun to a little boy than a spray bottle!!! Thankfully Hunter was there to snuggle up Paxton while his brother ran wild!

My Angels

Look at these two sweet and innocent faces. I could not love them more.......but tomorrow I will.

Turkey!

Hudson: Daddy went turkey hunting and came home this morning with this big gobbler!!! Good job Daddy! I can't wait to go with you.....but Mommy says that won't be happening for a veeeeerrrrrry long time!!! Daddy says this is a beautiful bird, Mommy says its the ugliest thing she's ever seen. I don't know who to believe?!?!?!

Jumpie Jump

Paxton: I had my first jump in the jumpie jump!! Okay, so I didn't do much jumping, but I did enjoy playing with all the toys. Okay, so I didn't really play with the toys, but I did suck on them!!

Mushrooms!!!

Jamie went mushroom hunting and found all of these morel mushrooms. He was so proud of himself, as was Hudson! He thought these were so cool, and really enjoyed eating them. Mommy on the other hand, not a big fan.

Hud & Pax

As you can probably tell, Hudson wasn't thrilled to take this picture, but I was bribing him! He is very hot and cold with his brother. Sometimes he runs over just to give him a kiss and hug, but most of the time he's telling whoever is holding him to put him to bed, or give him to someone else. The saddest part is he usually wants Grandma, or Aunt Sheri, or Aunt Vicky, so then he wants Mommy to hold baby.....he doesn't want Mommy!

And this face produces my least favorite noise!!

Paxton is "talking" a lot these days, and this face produces my most favorite noise, "OOOOHHHHHH". Just a beautiful sound, I love it!

Backyard Play

Hudson loves being outside!! He has so much to do in our yard he's constantly busy! After playing a little t-ball, being the boy that he is, he drove right over it with his fire truck! He got stuck for awhile but just gunned it and off he was, right into the........
.........mud and water from the sump pump!! Typical guy, off roading! A couple spin outs and he was out of that one too!

Then he took some time to water the plants, bushes, grass, rocks, and deck!

I think I had more fun with the sidewalk chalk. He yelled at Mommy to stop taking pictures. He's saying "No more camera Mommy!"

And poor Paxton just sits back and soaks it all in, watching his brother have all the fun. His day will come, too soon if you ask Mommy!

Passed Out!!

Paxton fell asleep in Logie's arms so she put him in Hudson's Vikings recliner. Looks like Paxton had a little too much bottle and passed out!

On the Farm

We spent Sunday afternoon at Grandma and Grandpa's farm and I had a blast!!! A little boy's heaven....running outdoors, tractors, 4-wheelers, lawn mowers, tools, and DIRT!!!!!

A Day with the Nordby's

We were lucky enough to spend Friday with the Nordby kids! They needed some help with daycare and we were more than happy to have them over! Paxton and Brenley got some much needed snuggle time in, and Brody and Hudson had a blast running around the house, playing with what seemed to be every single toy we own, and of course....just being boys! We all had a wonderful time, and both Brody and Brenley were angels, as were Hudson and Paxton. They all made it very easy on me! We'd love to have them over again!
