24 weeks (but really 25)

We were a little late taking our 24 week picture, I'll be 25 weeks tomorrow. Things are still going well. Baby #3 has the same heart focus that Paxton had, but we had a Level 2 ultrasound done a few weeks ago and she is perfectly healthy! I had a doctor appointment today and growing right on track, although I'm gaining more weight than I'd care to. The pounds just seem to keep adding up, all over! But I keep telling myself, in case this is my last pregnancy, I'll enjoy it while I can. These are probably the last days I'll ever indulge in ice cream before bed. Baby is moving around quite a bit. The boys like to watch and stare at my tummy, waiting to see her move. And they will even give her kisses unexpectedly every now and then. Hudson talks about his baby sister alot, asking questions about how she'll come out, how big she'll be, and that he wants 5 more sisters after this one. Mom would be all for that, but Daddy needs quite a bit more convincing. And he tells Paxton that he has to give his da-do's (pacifiers) to his baby sister when she gets here.....Paxton says no. We're all excited for baby girl, and waiting patiently for her arrival in about 3 months.......

sunday swimming

Another Sunday evening of swimming. The boys love it so much, its fun for everyone! And this time, Hudson called Grandma and invited her along with us.

Paxton is a daredevil in the water! Wants no help doing anything. He told me a million times, "Go away Mommy!". And he goes under the water like a fish!

Hudson's favorite part is still the hot tub, although he gave Grandma a good work out in the pool too.
Warming up at break time.

SnOwMaN

Hudson has been asking to make a snowman all winter, but there hasn't been enough snow until now! Grandma watched the boys on Thursday afternoon and built this snowman with Hudson. He's so proud of his snowman, and the boys love to look at him out the back door with deck light shining on him. And they painted him green with snow paint!

Making a snow angel.
Hudson wrote the H and U of his name, Grandma finished it.

And he always loves to swing, in any weather!

2 yr/3.5 yr pics

Here are some more of the pictures Marsha took of the boys a couple weeks ago......

That tongue was always curled!
This guy wouldn't smile for nothing.

Until he could squeeze his little brother.

Happy B-day Again Pax!

Paxton seems to have a birthday that never ends! We celebrated again tonight with the Johnson family at Happy Joe's. Once again, he gave us that shy smile while we sang to him....

And couldn't wait to dig in to that sundae! He ate the entire thing, all to himself! Enjoying every last melted drop!
We celebrate Paxton and Kendra's birthday together. It was her actual birthday today, she turned 6!

The cousins; Declyn, Hudson, Alyssa, Morgan, Bryce, Pax, and Kendra.

2 yr. stats & training

That adorable 2 year old went to the doctor this week and once again, made Mommy so proud! He weighed a whopping 29 lbs (60%), which isn't really whopping, but to the Johnson boys, its pretty big! Hudson at that age only weighed 25.9 lbs. And he measured in at 36 inches, but I'm pretty sure it was closer to 35 inches, because 36 puts him in the 84% and that is a percentage we do not see when it comes to height! He enjoyed everything about the doctor and Dr. Frannie, even thanking her as she walked out. And I may be biased, but I'm pretty sure he melts everyone's heart with his smile. How can he not........

We also started wearing undies this weekend. He ran around with no pants on most of the time, showing off his cute little butt! He was somewhat successful in that he went potty everytime he sat on the toilet, even telling me he had to go a couple times. But since he can pee every 5 minutes, literally, he'd go in his undies in between, usually just dribbles but he didn't really catch on to holding it in between. He was proud though, loving to show anyone who would watch, and LOVING to wash his hands!

cupcake baking

Hudson spent over an hour in his bed, "trying" to fall asleep for a nap, before Mommy finally yelled for him to come down. So while Paxton still napped, we baked cupcakes. One of our favorite things to do together.

Washing hands after cracking the eggs. He hasn't perfected it yet, but he's getting better.

And he loves mixing, until his arm gets tired.

But his favorite part is licking the batter!

Toilet Success!!

Paxton made a giant leap into big boy-hood today!! He went potty AND poopy, TWICE at daycare!!! I received the good news with a phone call from the little man, so happy to tell his mama what he did. He's been working hard at it, sitting on the toilet multiple times a day, squeezing and grunting, waiting and hoping for anything to come out, and it finally did today! I bought some brand new underwear for him and we'll tackle it more this weekend. Wish us luck that he's a little easier on us than is brother was!

Two hats...

Paxton loves this Handy Manny hat, so much so that he wears it around the house, and wanted to wear it to daycare this morning. I had to beg him to put on his winter hat first because it is COLD outside! He finally agreed as long as he could wear the Handy Manny hat on top. It's a good look, don't ya think?

sledding & swimming

Daddy really wanted to take the boys sledding, and we were worried there wouldn't be enough snow, but it was actually perfect! Just enough to fly down the hill, and the boys were still able to walk and climb back up on their own. They loved it, all three of them! Mommy stayed safely on top of the hill.

Always doing everything with that tongue curled out!

After sledding and nap, we decided to go swimming at Vogel. Again, they had a blast! Paxton was not happy when it was time to go, but thankfully they have a candy machine to help coax him out of the water.

They loved the slide, especially Pax! He must have gone up and down a million times, never even caring if Daddy was ready at the bottom to catch him.

And he could barely touch, I mean, chin still under the water kind of touching, but he didn't care!!! He didn't want any help. Such a brave boy, so different from his cautious brother.

He may be cautious, but he sure is a goofball! His favorite part was the hot tub. He wanted to go in but Mommy told him I could only put my feet in because I have baby in my tummy, and he asked, "Doesn't my baby sister like to be hot?" And I just said no, and he replied, "That's okay Mommy, she'll come out pretty soon and then you can come in with me."

Pac-man's Bday Party

We celebrated Paxton's birthday with a barnyard animal theme and he thoroughly enjoyed every moment! All the spotlight!

We had animals masks for the kids to wear, Hudson and Regan rarely took them off!

Paxton wanted Zevie to do headstands, "more and more"!!

Opening presents.....

Loving his Mickey Mouse Train from Logie.

And the big digger from Grandma and Grandpa!

Center of attention....just the way he likes it!

After blowing out the candles, he decided to dive right into the sheep!

Happy 2nd Birthday Packy!

Sunglass Kid

Paxton loves wearing sunglasses. Inside, outside, sun or no sun. The right way, or upside down too!

Out with the neighbors...

Hudson spotted the neighbors outside and before I knew it, he was gone, right out the back door! So we all headed out and spent the warm afternoon in the backyard. Hard to believe it was January 7th!

The police came to town.....Karson got a new police car from Santa.

The boys had a blast speeding around the neighborhood.
Since we got the indoor swing, Pax has gotten some practice and felt confident enough to ride on the "big boy" swing outside.
