Devil???

These are really supposed to be dragon horns from his McDonald's Happy Meal, but I thought they'd be more fitting for the top of Hudson's head, and by the looks of that face, I think I was right!

BIG SMILES!!!!

This kid is just too darn cute!! If you ask me ;)

Never leave the room.....

....when the boys are left unsupervised! I ran upstairs to get a onesie for Paxton, and on my way up I told Hudson to be nice to his brother. I guess this is his version of being nice. He set up a book for Paxton to look at and then SAT ON HIM!!!!! Thankfully he didn't put all his weight on him and Paxton was actually laughing at his silly big brother!

Hudsy got a mohawk!!!

Mommy: Hudson was in dire need of a haircut and we decided it was time for a new do! Hopefully one that will keep his cowlicks and alfalfa sprouts (thanks to his daddy!) in control.....a mohawk! Vicky even used the clippers! She said Hudson was the best almost-2 year old she's ever cut, sat so patiently the whole time. I love it, and he looks so cool, my little punk rocker! Paxton just got to come along for the ride!

Hunter's Party

We celebrated Hunter's birthday...again! What a lucky girl! Hudson really enjoyed jumping on the trampoline with all the big kids! At one time he was in there with 3 older boys!!! Mom was a little nervous to say the least. And not only for his safety, but also of what 3 older boys could teach my baby! Thankfully he came out unharmed! He also liked "swimming" in the hot tub with Hunter. Any time that boy can get in water, he's thrilled! Poor Paxton had to stay indoors with all the women. Let's just say Hudson had a way better time!

Matching Brothers.....

Hudson snuggled right up to Paxton!
Mommy: I have been waiting a long time to do this with my boys!!! And I'll continue to dress them alike as long as they're too young to tell me not to!! It's just too cute!

3 months....

Paxton: I'm 3 months old today! I'm getting bigger and bigger everyday! And Mommy says I'm getting cuter and cuter everyday. She thinks I must get cuter when I sleep! We tried to weigh me and we're guessing I weigh about 13 pounds? I finally fit into most of my 3 month outfits, at least length-wise. I pretty much sleep through the night now, usually from about 10:00pm to 6-6:30am, then I eat, and go back to sleep until about 9:30am. I love to smile and am starting to talk really loud! I haven't rolled over yet but I try really hard. I like to watch my brother, he moves around a lot so there's always something to watch. But my mommy is still my favorite!

I Love Mommy!

Mommy: Paxton sure does love his Mommy! But since we're spending all day every day together, he's started to like his Mommy more than anyone else. It sure makes me feel special, but Daddy wants a little Paxton lovin' too! I'm hoping it's just a phase and that we'll be over it before I have to go back to work.

Nice hair Hudson!

Just a little taste of what Hudson's hair looks like after a nap or......all the time!!!!

Swimming

Hudson: Everyday Mommy asks me what I want to do, and everyday I tell her that I want to go swimming, and FINALLY she listened and took me to open swim!!! Daddy is gone for the weekend so she said we'd do something special together. I loved every second of it! I was so mad at the lifeguards when they had to take a break and made me get out of the pool!!! Sorry the picture is so dark, Grandma took it from far away. Her and my baby brother were watching us from the bleachers.

Hudson went on the toilet and.......

Nothing happened! He told his Daddy that he wanted to go on the potty so Jamie put him on there and Hudson just enjoyed hanging out! His silly face is at Hunter who was telling him to go poopy! But, he did nothing and still didn't want to come off. Now he's kind of like the boy who cried wolf, always telling me he's pooping so he can go on the potty. I don't think we're ready for this, at least I'm not!

The shirt says it all......

Happy 12th Birthday Hunter!!

It was Hunter's 12th birthday so we went out to eat to celebrate! After supper, we went back to Sheri's house and Hudson jumped right in the high chair for the cupcake that Auntie Sheri promised him! Let's just say the frosting was his favorite part......of more than one cupcake!

Changing time.....

Mommy: By the looks of that belly and double chin, Paxton may look like a mini-chubscout, but at almost 3 months, he's still not fitting into a lot of his 3 month clothes! It's a mystery to me! Hudson was very interested in his brother while I was changing him. Pointing out his belly button, micies (name my strange family calls the chest area, it's pronounced my-sees....don't ask!!), and his wee-wee (name we use for his boy parts), in fact he took his diaper off after I put it on. He also thought Paxton had a runny nose and needed to use the "nose squisher". And after putting up with all that pestering, he decided his little brother deserved a kiss too!

Sit-ups

Mommy: Paxton seems to really like doing this! Must be because he's making me work! It's always risky after a big 5 oz. bottle, as you can see if you enlarge the picture....there's spit up falling onto my legs! Funny though, even with all the smiles and laughs, it still doesn't motivate me enough to do sit-ups!!

Mohawk

We made a mohawk....but should they be devil horns instead......or an angel's halo?!?!?!

Da-do's!!!!!!!!

Hudson: Can you see the excitement on my face!!?!??! This is how happy I am to go to bed! And all because I finally get my da-do's!! For those of you who are confused, da-do's are pacifiers. Mommy and Daddy only let me have them when I'm in my crib, so when someone asks if I'm ready for bed, I know exactly what that means.....DA-DO'S!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think Mommy and Daddy secretly use it as their way of getting me to go bed easily, but I don't even care, if it means I get to have these glorious, soothing pacifiers I'm all in! Just make sure I have one for my mouth and one for my hand. It's part of my OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder- Mommy has diagnosed me!).

T-Ball

Mommy: Another nice day on Sunday so we got Hudson's T-Ball set out. He was actually able to hit the ball pretty good, I was impressed! Especially since he hit it left-handed and right-handed! Of course Daddy came out and tried to teach him to be only left-handed because they make the best baseball players! But Hudson was having none of that!! You can't teach this boy anything, he can do it himself!!!! And the best part is, he's still at the age when chasing after the balls is fun so Mommy doesn't have to do much work!

Day 2 and 3

Day 2 was filled with lots more swimming!! Paxton went to Hunter's basketball game with Grandma and Sheri so Hudson had his Mommy and Daddy all to himself! All three of us had fun in the pools. So much so that we had to go back in the evening. Paxton came down to watch and loved all the action but it wore him out and he fell asleep on Auntie Sheri's lap. Both boys slept like angels in the hotel; Hudson in the pack n' play and Paxton in......a chair!! I had planned on having him sleeping in our bed but pulling the chair up against it worked really well! He slept through both nights. Day 2 also consisted of us girls doing some major shopping! The boys needed more summer clothes and they got a whole wardrobe! So much so that we maxed out one of the registers with too many items! The boys say thank you to Grandma for all their clothes! We're so lucky! We took the boys to meet the Easter Bunny today but they had a no camera rule so no picture :( They did a good job though. We're so thankful Hudson isn't scared and hope Paxton follows in his footsteps!

Our Trip to Sioux Falls, SD......Day One

Mommy: We went to Sioux Falls, South Dakota this weekend for Hunter's basketball tournament, but we only seen one basketball game. We spent most of the weekend swimming! Hudson was a little nervous at first because it was packed with wild kids, but me and Jamie took him once it calmed down and he loved it! He jumped in, went down the slide, walked through the spouting water, and sat in the hot tub. It wasn't easy getting him out! Paxton didn't have quite as an eventful trip, but it was his first time out of state, and stay in a hotel.

Park Fun!!

Mommy: Finally, a day nice enough to walk to the park! And a new park, by our new house! At first I thought I'd be brave and try taking both boys by myself, but then I realized it would be much easier to wait for Jamie to come home from work and we can both go! We loaded up the boys in the double stroller for the first time and it worked pretty well. Hudson went down all the slides by himself, but his favorite is still the swings. Even Paxton got to try out swinging for his very first time. I think he'll enjoy it as much as his brother! We had a lot of fun, until the last picture when Hudson was scolding me! He pointed that finger and stuck out his eyebrows and told me, "No Mommy No!!" to any more pictures!

Hand-me-downs

Paxton: These are my big brother's clothes when he was a baby. Mommy says he only got to wear them once, and so will I! I must be bigger than him because he was older when he wore them. I'm in between sizes right now, outgrowing old clothes but too small for new ones.

Happy 18th Bday Logie!

Mommy: By the time I had my camera ready to take a picture of my boys, Hudson was getting ready to shove Paxton aside! He was ready for his jammies and helping Logie blow out her birthday candles.
P.S. Paxton's tear duct in his left eye finally opened and is looking so much better! Now we're just waiting on that pesky right eye!

Spring Chicken...

One baby at a time please!

Mommy: There will come a time when Paxton wants to do everything his big brother Hudson does, but for right now, its the exact opposite!

It's not what it looks like......

Although, we admit, any reason being hunched over the toilet is not a good reason! Here, Hudson is just mimicking Grandma, so we blame her for this less than sanitary behavior! She throws ladybugs, or as Hudson likes to call them "bubs" into the toilet, so......Hudson does the same thing. He gets so excited when he finds a bubs and goes running to the toilet to throw it in! Then he loves to watch the bubs swim, trying to save it's own life before the big bad Hudson flushes him down!
