Choo-choo

We put Hudson's new train set and table in his room and he loves waking up to it! And going to bed with it, sometimes he has to bring a train with him to snuggle in.

At the park.....

We spent part of the afternoon at the park today. Hudson liked climbing around on everything, and of course swinging! He didn't want any help to do anything and told Mommy and Logan "Get away!" if we came anywhere near him. That made Mommy very nervous when he came close to the edge of a 7 foot platform! In the second picture he spotted a tractor driving down the road and got excited yelling, "Grandpa's tractor!"

6 MONTHS

Paxton is 6 months old today, a half a year!!

No sweet corn for Hudsy....

We had our first batch of sweet corn of the year but poor Hudsy couldn't enjoy any and instead ate Jell-o. He has been sick and now has "owies" in his mouth which we think are canker sores. He's scared to eat anything he has to bite into so he's been on a squishy diet of pudding, yogurt, and Jell-o. Today he finally ate macaroni n' cheese and black olives! Yum!

We usually put Paxton in this jumpie since its right in the living room. And there is lots more to play with to keep him busy.

Princess Logie's parade.....

Hudson couldn't quite decide if he liked Logie in the parade better, or the horsies?? Paxton watched every float go by, his head moved back and forth, back and forth!

Hudson's Elmo Party

We celebrated Hudson's 2nd birthday on Saturday with an Elmo party. Hudson loved all of the decorations in every room of the house! But even more than that, he LOVED his Elmo cake!! It was SOOO cute! Almost too cute to cut into, but Hudson dove right in. Despite feeling a little under the weather, he had a wonderful time and got lots of great gifts! Thank you to everyone for celebrating with him! Hudson, Regan, and Carson playing in the toy room.Opening up his new train set and table from Godmother Maddi and Zevlen. We can't wait to set that up! We just have to find a big space for it.

Taking his new truck from Grandma and Grandpa for a spin. Daddy has to adjust the seats to he can reach the pedal better. Our little 2 year old is somewhat of a shrimp.

Camping in the Living Room

Both boys have been a little under the weather, and when that happens, they both want Mommy. So we had no choice but to set up camp in the living room and all snuggle together. The boys slept great, Mommy not so much. But to look to both sides and see my precious boys, peacefully sleeping and quietly snoring makes it all worth it.

Hudsy's Movie

I had a video made of Hudson's 2nd year and he LOVES watching it! I think in the 2 days we've had it, we've watched it 13 times, all on Hudsy's request! He says, "Hudsy movie Mommy. Hudsy on TV." It sure keeps him quiet for awhile!

Happy 2nd Birthday Hudson!!!

Our baby boy (the oldest one!) turned 2 years old yesterday. He woke up to 40 balloons in his room and loved it!! I watched him on the video monitor and his eyes lit up as he said, "Blue one! Yellow one! Pink one! Balloons! Mommy, where are you?" After an hour or so of playing with the balloons, he opened presents, then went to lunch at Plaza Girabaldi where he wore the sombrero. Then we went home and he patiently waited to blow out his number 2 candle as Logie, Hunter, and I sang Happy Birthday. He swam and jumped until he couldn't go any longer and when I asked him if he wanted to take a nap on his birthday, he said "Yea, nap now." And then off again to Happy Joe's for supper, more presents, and ice cream!! I think he more than loved his big day! Thankfully it isn't over yet, he still has 2 more parties to go!

Day at the Friederich's

We all went up to Ryan and Liz's on Saturday so Daddy could help build a playset for the girls. The plan was to swim the day away, but unfortunately the sun rarely came out and it was far too chilly to swim! We made the most of it and had a great time regardless.

Saying Goodbye to Family

We spent a week with our family, Hudson and Paxton getting to know everyone, and then we had to say goodbye. It's so much fun to have them here, but we just miss them even more when they're gone.

Mall of America 6-15-2010

We went shopping at the Mall of America last week and Logie, a.k.a. Gimpy rolled around in a wheelchair. It was convenient for me because she could hold and feed Paxton as we shopped. And the wheelchair was actually easier to push than the double stroller, and Hudson wanted Grandma to push him. Hudson and Paxton were real troopers all day!!

Valleyfair

We went to Valleyfair with the family on Monday. Hudson has grown into his fear and didn't care to ride on the rides. The only one he enjoyed was the Air Balloons with Mommy, otherwise he was a great spectator. Kind of sad considering he LOVED rides last year!! Here Grandma is telling him he should go on the fun rides, and he is replying with, "No Amma!"

Paxton was a great baby! Took a few naps, had a couple bottles, and watched all the action.

Meeting new family.......

Our relatives are visiting from Illinois and Tennessee and we are having lots of fun with them. Busy, busy, busy on the go! The boys aren't even taking naps and they're both being so good! I think they love all the attention! Paxton liked playing toys with Aunt Sandi and Cousin Dana.
