Our baby has arrived!!
Written by Mommy: Introducing the newest addition to our family.......PAXTON HUNTER JOHNSON!!!! Born on December 28, 2009 at 8:01am. He weighs 7 lbs. 11 3/4 ozs. and is 20.5 inches long. He is a spitting image of Hudson when he was born. He's been an angel, barely made a peep. Actually, he's barely opened his eyes, I still don't even know what color they are. He has very dark brown hair; lots in the back, none on top. We've had lots of visitors and we're really enjoying all the company. Making the hospital days go by quick. His Godmother Logan spent the whole day with us, fighting Maddi the "baby hog" for Paxton's attention. Unfortunately Hudson hasn't been able to meet his new brother yet with the visitor restrictions. Sure making it hard on Mommy to be away. Daddy was lucky this morning and was able to spend some time with him, otherwise he's been at daycare and with Grandma, in good hands. Paxton and I are both doing well so we're hoping to be able to go home tomorrow to complete our family of 4. I can't wait to see my boys together!

Mommy and Baby Hudson
SLEDDING!!!
We went sledding!!!! And it was SOOOO much fun! I asked for "more" whenever my sled stopped. Yesterday, Mommy took me with Grandma, and Grandma even ran down the street with me! Then today we went with Hunter and she gave me rides around the church parking lot. I really liked the snow and didn't care that it was a bit chilly. I just told Mommy it was "brrrrr" outside.

CHRISTMAS 2009
The snow didn't spoil our Christmas! We were still able to make it out to Lon and Vicky's and celebrate with our family. I opened my presents from my Godmother Maddi there and she gave me my very own Vikings recliner!!!! It is really cool, and Daddy says it even has my own beer holder. Logie ran around with me all night and she gave me lots of treats! I loved my 2nd Christmas!

Bunny??
Men at Work
Mommy says: "Now isn't this a sight to see?!?!" We had our first fire in the new fireplace and all did not go so well. There was a funny smell and it wasn't smoke, so Daddy and Grandpa had to take a good look at it, and of course, I figured they needed my help too! We're just boys at work!
P.S. Its still not fixed!
Merry Christmas Eve
I woke up to the bestest present EVER......a KITCHEN!!!! Thank you, thank you Santa! It even has a grill just like Daddy's. He says thats the only reason he let Santa bring one, it makes it a "Man's Kitchen". I played with it all day long. I told Mommy and Daddy they could go to church without me and I'll have supper ready when they come back. It didn't fly, I still had to go. Grandma and Grandpa came over to open presents too. I liked to try on all my clothes that I got, making sure they fit.

Stair Railings
Mommy is just using me as a model to show off Daddy's handy work on the new railings! My talented Dad made them from scratch! So it took him what seemed to be FOREVER, he reminds Mommy that we can't rush his work! Then Mommy reminds him that he works as fast as a turtle so we're only catching him up to normal speed! But, now the railings are done, we're all happy, and the house looks much better! Daddy's on to his next project now....my toy room! I sure hope its done before I'm bigger than all my toys! (He, he, sorry Dad! Mom must be rubbing off on me!)
18 months old
First round of Christmas presents....done (thank you Ahlness family)! Mommy said I could open some presents early because it was my 18 month birthday! Can you believe I'm a year and a half already? Mommy and Daddy can't! They watched the video of when I was born and couldn't believe how little I was. Get over it guys because baby brother is on his way, and fast!! I was a good boy at the doctor today, even Hunter came with and was proud of me! I'm still a shrimp, weighing in at 24 lbs. 8 ozs. (30%) and am 31 1/4 inches tall (20%). I'm embarrassed to say I've only grown a fourth of an inch since my 15 month check up. I obviously take after Mommy in the height category!
Johnson Christmas
We had Christmas at Grandma Sharon's house on Sunday. First, we watched the kids sing at the Christmas program at church, and then we went back to the house for supper and opened presents. Shhhhh.....nobody tell Daddy that we put up this picture of him in his Santa boxers! He and his brother and brother-in-laws all wore them!! Silly guys, sure hope I don't grow up to be like them!

My message to the Nordby's.....
I just wanted to send my hugs (and kisses too, but I didn't have enough letters) to Brenley so she feels all better soon! Mommy says to save some hugs for her mommy Meredith too! And I played really nice with Brody at daycare so he wouldn't be sad. My brother is getting worried that he won't be able to meet Brenley right away when he gets here but I'll tell him she's worth waiting for, since she's so cute and all!

Me and Santa.....again
We went to see the Macy's Christmas display and although we waited a LOOOOOONG time, it was well worth it! Mommy says she would've waited 5 hours just to see my face light up like that! I loved seeing all the lights, snowmen, elves, and animals! Then at the end we seen Santa again. Mommy said Santa was kind of a scary Santa, but I didn't care, the man brings me presents!

Another day with Sheri
I spent another wonderful day at Aunt Sheri's. I have so much fun there, I don't want to leave when Mommy comes. She asked, "Do you want to go home?" and I shook my head no and ran to Sheri. She lets me do pretty much whatever I want and calls me an angel all day long. Mommy says thats funny since I seem to grow devil horns as soon as we get home. She says I must use up my angel halo while I'm gone. Sheri's tree is really pretty and I've done my best at not touching it! I also helped bake (a.k.a. EAT) Christmas cookies today. I think that was my favorite part of the day!
Just like Arnie
Me and Arnie have been hanging out a lot lately! He's been helping out at our new house, doing lots of painting and other work! Mommy says he's the greatest man that ever lived and we wouldn't know what we'd do without him! He's my good buddy and I ask for him all the time. I wake up from my nap and say, "Arnie?" I look in my play room and ask, "Arnie?" We drive by his house, "Arnie?" Sheri says I've been hanging out with him too much because today at their house I never stopped talking! I'm wearing his hat in this picture. See, just like Arnie!

At Sheri's.....
I don't have daycare this week so I get to go to Sheri's, Vicky's, and Grandma's. Today was Sheri's day and as you can see, I was well fed!!! I found the treat dish right away and enjoyed some chocolate covered pretzels, and then Vicky brought me my very own roll! What more could a boy ask for? Mommy says we'll have to brush my teeth extra long tonight! I also practiced feeding a baby. I hope my brother doesn't look anything like this troll! Yikes!

SANTA!!!
I went to see Santa today!! First, Mommy walked by very slowly and told me to look at Santa. I think she was making sure I wouldn't scream or something, but I didn't! I laughed and smiled and wanted to get a closer look. When Santa seen me he said, "Ho Ho Ho Hudson!!" and I couldn't believe it! I sat on his lap and just stared at him for awhile. I was so in awe, I didn't even get a chance to tell him what I want most for Christmas.....a kitchen! Mommy was so proud of me and said I'm the best one and a half year old she knows!

Santa??
Me and Daddy were checking to make sure Santa has enough room to come down the chimney on Christmas Eve. I sure hope we don't have a fire that night! Mom would like everyone to take notice in mine and Daddy's hair. Our cowlicks are both sticking straight up exactly the same in the back. Beautiful bed head hair! Mommy is so proud!
St. Nick's Day
Happy St. Nick's Day to everyone!!! What a great morning to wake up to presents by my stocking! I got a Handy Manny ornament that me and Mommy put on the tree. And I figure, since its mine, I can take it on and off the tree as much as I want. All of the other ornaments are off limits. I can't wait to go cruising down the hill in my new sled! Daddy already gave me a few laps around the house.
